The food is quite great and all servings have good quantities. I loved the ambiance, the colours and the unique decor inside. It also offers books (in various foreign languages), board games and cards for customers to engage themselves in while the food is being prepared. If you like a little off beat restaurant, you should surely check this out.

This place was my favourite when I was staying with my friends in Mahabalipuram . Not a big space - so a few times it was full and we need come back later . Food was great . Good memories !!!!

... And since the owner who always controls it all is a Frenchman, you dare to order some food! And this is why the place is constantly full. Mediocre food cannot be the reason. Above average prices for the mediocre food cannot be the reason. Unusual characters serving as waiters cannot be the reason. Well, you know why you go,... More

Than you arrive in Chennai, India in the middle of the demonetisation process with only 2 x 2000 rupees in your pocket (for which you first had to walk 3 hours to find an atm with a queue shorter dan 50m and not being empty) and you arrive in Mahabalipuram two hours later and have a meal at Nautilus. You... More

Was very impressed with the first visit here was pleasant. They had a good mix of Western and Indian. I had the chili chicken and mashed potatoes. Odd combo but chose the side for something other than rice. Only complaint was the chicken was a little oily but was amazing nonetheless.

We were served a dry and insiped fish that had been cooked without love, and the whole place had the feel of a venture one step away from closure. The owner was clearly worried that the tourists were staying away, many put off by the withdrawal of two notes from circulation - demonetisation. The answer if things are not going... More

We arrived following a guide book review which must have been made in better times. Owner was in a bad mood, tourism is down 30 per cent thanks to demonetisation, he complained. One can see his point. But thats no reason to let his sassy waiter sell us some tasteless fish - he said he would grill it, it was... More

This place is a tourist trap. Run by a french man you would expect better quality food. The service was good, but the food.... embarassingly bad. I had the tomato cheese spagetti, which was a tiny portion of white spagetti noodles with a tiny amount of tomato sauce that tasted like tomato paste from the can and a laughable amount... More

The range of good here was very limited. Seems popular with French tourists and had a slight French feel to the menu but we were disappointed.l

Lovely location to sit and relax in a quiet street. We had prawn fried rice and it was delicious. Staff were so trusting we went back and paid later in the day as we only had a large note. Nice clean tables and chairs
