Oh dear, a cake shop on the way to and from our destination of Pemayangtse on one day and Rabdentse Ruins another day. A pleasant surprise for such an unassuming bakery. A small bakery with an excellent baker. The apple and banana pies were awesome.

Tasty pastries, very useful either for a stop, or for a DIY picnic. Friendly staff. A short walk out of central Pelling on the way up to the Pemayangtse Monastery or Rabdentse Ruins.

A quaint little bakery run by the alumnis of the local school, DPCA, this bakery offers a thankful break if you are hiking from upper pelling to Pemayangtse Monastery. Must try the black tea with a coconut cake.

Right at the foot of the Pemayangtse Monaster, it is a small roadside bakery. All the food is made in the bakery attached to the shop. The food is inexpensive and there is enough space for large groups. What you can Expect 1. Awesome fresh baked goodies 2. A desire to buy and try everything What you must not expect:... More

Super friendly staff, nice cakes and pastries and a lovely calm place to sit and have a cup of tea. No, its not exactly the sort of croissant you'd have in the west, but they are still very good and did you come up to Pelling for the scenery and Kanchenjunga or for perfect pastries? They do a great job... More
