The cafe was located very close to our hotel. Based on the TripAdvisor reviews we had hoped for some great food. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The food was standard at best. We had spicy chicken with peanuts (not spicy), beef steak, fried beans and a pizza. Mostly not freshly made. Maybe the owners changed sinxe the last reviews.... More

My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch on our recent trip to the rice terraces. We enjoyed our meal and the view very much- a good mix of Chinese and Western dishes and a great place to enjoy a cold drink after hiking. Most of all we were overwhelmed by the kindness of the owner, Danny. We asked him... More

Food was excellent, the spring roll was incredible. Danny was very friendly, provided free wifi and takes credit card. Believe his wife does most of the cooking.. They also have fresh juices, carrot juice was delicious! Even ordered spring rolls to go on our last day.. way better than airport options :) . on a clear day the views are... More

Had a lovely meal here in the most enjoyable surroundings. Danny the host is entertaining and speaks excellent English. We only had 2 dishes and a shared dessert as we were recovering from lunch and have learnt that the helpings are larger than other countries. We had a mildly spicy chicken curry (8/10), a bamboo rice (6/10 but a novel... More

If you feel tired because of hiking, stop and step in there. Great Chinese food served with smile by friendly staff. Choose table on the terrace with view on rice terraces and village and enjoy. You don't need anything more.

We stopped in at Green Garden Coffee house (Lvyuan Cafe) exhausted from a hike and we were so glad we did! Danny was very attentive to my mother's gluten intolerance. For lunch we had the chicken steak & french fries. The flavour of the chicken, done in oyster sauce and ginger, was incredible. Dinner the 2nd night we had fried... More

What a gem this place is. Stumbled across it after a days walking and ended up staying the night. Great views, great food and a super friendly owner who spoke excellent English.

Really called the Green Garden Coffee House, Danny, who speaks good english, cooks up excellent food and has a great selection of beer and wine. Very friendly, but be sure to not be in a hurry as he does all the cooking.

The food was lovely and the view from the table is quite nice...! The staff are great and service was good...! At the time we visited it was not that busy but making a reservation is easy..! If you're staying in the Star Wish hotel its no problem at all to find... But if you're at the 2nd viewing point... More

Just had a great coffee and Apple pie, while enjoying the beautiful view and watching the locals and tourists pass on their way up or down the village! What makes a difference are the friendly Danny and wife who enjoy a nice conversation. And the wifi really worked well :) The menu and prices look great; I'm coming back for... More
