Last time we ventured down to see the place there were indications that it had closed. Our understanding is that the place can still be rented for private affairs - we would not recommend doing so.

Last night we went for a family diner as a stay-cation kind of vibe and even though we had reservations we came to a closed restaurant. WE asked the neighboring Flying Fishbone and the security there told us that the restaurant has closed it' doors and doesn't exist anymore. There is nothing of that mentioned on the website and we... Was driving along with my mother when we both decided to try this place out. Heard much about it and it looked like a good place to try. Not being much of a fish person I choose it anyway was pleasantly surprised by how well the fish tasted and was cooked perfectly the prices a bit on the upper side... More

They are no longer a fully functioning restaurant, they are now a private home that is opened to... More

The food is so good. The restaurant is tucked away on a cool street that speaks Aruba. It is quaint and quiet with nice menu selections. The servers are attentive and very friendly.

Very close to Flying Fishbone, but totally different. Very peaceful, beautiful views, delicious food and great service. Our table was 10 feet from the water...we took our shoes off and walked in between courses. Lovely!

As travel agents, we always like to scout out new places to review and Old Man and the Sea offered great romantic ambience for a romantic evening as well as "free transportation" and a discount for travel agents. We booked a beautiful cabana and confirmed with both the driver and the restaurant. Halfway to the restaurant the driver told us... More
