Savio was once one of our favorites for a few years, until a meal from hell, with offensively slow service. Returned one month ago, after a year and a half, to find it tolerable, though service is chaotic but was quick enough, the fried perch were still rather good. This place is a real disappointment. This restaurant seduced us by its position on the lake side and next to the play ground. but that it all. service is not attentive, not friendly. food is of a very low / industrial quality. and long, very looooong waiting time. Doesn't worth it!

They are now offering and additional lunchtime menu "De Lago" its 18 euros but gives yet more choice and is excellent value. I had laterine fritte (Whitebait) and there was far too much so I had the extra in a bag for the Gatti (cat) he enjoyed them.

It's not always easy to find a place that will accept your four-legged companion so this was our first criteria. Then we were more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the lovely staff and a great choice of wines. This was also way cheaper than many of the other restaurants here.

This recently changed hands and the new owners have started a set lunch menu Tuesday to Friday. I have been on a number of occasions and it has always been good value. Starter, Main, side dish, mezzo water and quarto wine followed by coffee for 12 euros. In competition with the Bistro further down the road but they close on... More
