The menu card is small but the servings are big and for a good price. I had a big plate of spaghetti with chicken, bacon, bell peppers and onions - just too good to be true. My boyfriend had surgeon fish with pasta. The staff is very friendly. We can highly recommend this place!

Would highly recommend this restaurant. Very friendly owner/ chef who collects you and drops you off. A nice change from over priced resort food. Yummy steak and fish. Lovely host. Great atmosphere. A must for someone wanting good food in a relaxed restaurant!

This is the place were we had the best meals while in Rangiroa (5 days). The deck is right on the lagoon, and the food is delicious, especially the carpaccio of "thon rouge" (yellow fin tuna). On top of it, for dinner the owner picks you up "free of charge" at your hotel.

Dinner and lunch have a nice variety. Breakfast needs some variety if you are staying longer than 3 days. Most tables have a wonderful view of either the pool or ocean. If attending the Polynesian show get there right at six to get a good table.

We landed here for dinner after not being able to get a reservation at the Raira Lagon which books a few nights in advance. The owner came and picked us up from our hotel and we were seated on their deck overlooking the lagoon. Since we were there for dinner it was pitch black and no lights in or on... More

Following the good reviews on TA we chose to eat here on our first night on the atoll. It was dark, so we didn't get the benefits of any lagoon/ocean views, which I'm sure would have been spectacular. So, I'm 'judging' based only on the merit of the food and service. First the good points: The pick up from our... More

Enjoy wonderful slow life and simple island food after diving at 6 Passengers just next door. Don't be in a rush - things take their time. But the deck and the beach are so inviting - as is the breeze and outstanding wifi:) Pauline goes the extra mile to make young visitors happy! Just ask our sea sick teen....

Postives: 1. Very friendly owner, who doubles as taxi driver to pick you up and shuttle you from nearby Kia Ora resort; 2. Good tuna dish selection; 3. A nearby alternative to the Kia Ora resort dining room; 4. Good Mai Tai, evidently use the same ingredients or recipe as that used by Kia Ora resort. Negatives: 1. As a... More

well, there are not many options on this little piece of island and we were staying at the Kia Ora. I went out for a scooter ride one afternoon and stopped by (by chance) and had a beer on the deck and met the owner, a nicer gent I am not sure exists. Anyway I was watching him prepare things... Decent pizza, good bolognese, very close to The 6 Passengers and other dive shops. Place seems to have inconsistent hours. Nice view of the beach.
