Location and contact

The Chikoo Tree Project is a new restaurant at Margao, South Goa inspired by food that, we as a family, grew up savouring under the shade of a large chikoo tree that still stands at the entrance of our home. It's a bistro and serves home style delicacies like Raagi Dosas made interesting by adding locally inspired fillings and served with stews, Momos and Thukpa, Pastas, Hasselback potatoes and Kathi Wraps. For those who love their curries, we have them on our daily specials' menu. Therestaurant is located on Dr. Miranda Road - the lane behind Nanutel, Margaon. Do try it out! It's open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and is closed on Mondays. As a part of this project we wish to encourage budding artists

The place was empty when we visited for a late luch and hence the service was attentive. Interesting options on food. Ragi dosa with coconut curry. Parotha and curry. Good coffee options too.

Went to The Chikoo Tree Project with a friend after his strong recommendation. Had the Thupka and Sandwich. The taste was good. But the pricing seemed to be on the higher side compared to the taste. Overrated in my opinion.
