Gyani da Dhaba is basically a road side dhaba / restaurant situated on the NH-22 highway to Shimla in Dharampur. It has lost it charm and runs more due to the hype generated by its name. Pros: 1. Location is good - mid-way on NH-22 highway towards Shimla 2. Food is average - though few items tastes good 3. Mostly... More

The place is apparently quite famous. One has to wait to get a lunch table. The menu is quintessentially North Indian. Both Veg & Chicken dishes are tasty, portions are smallish but they turn around orders pretty quickly. The place also serves chilled beer which was obviously a bonus. The Owners are very friendly and cooperative. Overall we had a... More

The waiters or serving staff is not polite and once your main order is finished you have to wait a long to even call... More

Crowded place and in rush hour one has to wait and struggle to get a tablr. We ordered lemon chicken which is served dry and with bone along with Amritsari Dal and Shahi Paneer. They serve only tandoori roti and butter nans. Must say that the lemon chicken was good and worth a visit but the other two dishes were... More

This place was one of the most famous place to stop and eat food, but of late its avoidable. People serving food are dirty, place is not clean and food quality is nothing to write about. In all avoidable place.

Good food, affordable prices, quick service. It was recommended to us for its rajma-chawal (not great), and tandoori aloo-pyaaz parathas (good).
