The restaurant has excellent views, good food and is prices sensibly. However we got a sneak-peak into the rooms and those are pathetic. So dont even try.

IMO it's must visit if you are travelling to kasauli. You will definitely enjoy food in the open area. Try if you can manage your stay at Ross common. It's very close to market and other key attractions.

We stopped for a snack. The place was under renovation and didn't look liveable. The gardens were pretty & the view quite magnificent. The dining hall was dingy. It would have been better if we had sat outside. The food & drink were fine (Chicken sandwich, lassi, cold coffee)

Horrible rooms for a hotel. Overpriced. Bad food. Its difficult to reach on a holiday. Too noisy for a hill station. Much better locations available

Ross Common is located in the charming town of Kasauli and is run by Himachal Tourism. It is a colonial bungalow with an 'old world' atmosphere with an excellent view of mountains. This place offers peace and quite without making one a recluse. The place offers excellent soups escpecially 'cream of chicken' and 'hot and sour chicken soup'. Their starters... More

So Kasauli has nothing, literally nothing!!!!! I had heard about Ross Common from a friend, so searching at night I reached the property and had to almost find the waiters to ask if they were open..8PM, that is mid night for Kasuali actually. Sitting is ok, a few tables inside and a few outside, kind of cramped. Small for a... More

Had lunch in this restaurant, which is in line with the nature of this town i.e. slow and steady! It took nearly 30 minutes to get the lunch but food was hot and tasted good. Since most of the tables were already full, so had it indoors, in a heritage setting!!! The views outside this restaurant are beautiful and romantic,... More
