Found this place by accident and ordered takeaway. The menu is extensive and the food fabulous. We had the Chicken Jalfrezi and I can still taste it today. Was going to go back and eat in but unfortunately never did. Our loss>

We went here to celebrate Fathers Day with our two adult children. I am glad that we booked as the place was very busy. We were impressed with the range of dishes on the menu. My prawn biryani was excellent, nicely spiced and my husband enjoyed his chicken makhani. These were both dishes that we often choose and they were... More

Just a very quick update on my favorite restaurant. They seemed to have trouble with there takeaway service and the standard of food that was coming out was not of the quality that is expected of such a good eatery. To be fair I did give it a miss for a while, but recently over the last couple of months... More

We used to visit this restaurant on a regular basis but we moved further away so when we were in the area we decided to visit the restaurant. We had not been here for at least four years and on entering the restaurant we were instantly greeted by Halim as if we visited the restaurant a week ago he even... More

Comparisons are often odious but sometimes useful. This place is probably as close as you will get to authentic ethnic cuisine. The emphasis tends to be Bengali/Punjabi oriented but the menu is wide ranging and comprehensive. It's a place to take your time over your repast and take in the atmosphere reminiscent of less frenetic times. The curries are properly... More

I have tried many indian restaurants but this was the best i have tried, hands down. All the dishes were full of flavour, not just heat and the meat was excellent quality.

Busy. Service is attentive but not fussy. Most of the local Indian restaurants have gone fancy rather sterile (read half full and quiet). This one is really genuine with a buzz. The food is really good. Great variety on the menu. The bill was £70 for family of 4. Very reasonable including coffee and deserts etc. Been a few times... More

My favourite local Indian restaurant food is excellent and staff always friendly. Also offers a great take-away service the only downside they don't deliver but its not too far to go to get your meal

This is the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to and I've been to a few. The staff are always friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is first class - if you like lamb, you must chose one of their lamb dishes, the lamb is so tender it just melts in your mouth. Absolutely wonderful,... More
