We brought our american tourists to eat there because it is adjacent to the Zoo, which is very convenient; We were very pleased by the good spirit and kindness of the staff.
Timing of the plates arrival was perfect! From appetizers to the end just...perfect and tastyt! We strongly recommend!More

Un grand Merci pour votre visite et ce mot qui nous ravie.
Au plaisir de vous servir à nouveau.
Wonderful French food in a comfortable setting outdoors. This is the place to dine for those - like us - who were traveling as tourists around the Northwest quadrant of Martinique. Not exactly easy to spot from the road and be aware of limited opening...hours. Highly recommended!More

We enjoyed our first meal here so much that we made reservations for a second night, as we were leaving. It is pricey, but the atmosphere, service and food definitely rate that. On the Friday night we were there, they had a small band (3...members) playing requests from a list that they passed around, with songs in both French and English. The place was nearly packed. On our second visit on a weeknight, there were only 4 tables occupied and there was quiet jazz playing over the sound system.
The menus are on I-pads, with multiple language options. The menu is quite expansive, and everything we had was delicious. We just couldn't pass up the homemade foie gras (3 thick slices accompanied by caramelized onions and thick toast, as well as a small salad). It was plenty, to serve as my main one night. Between the 2 nights, we also sampled the smoked salmon salad, Italian beef tartare, duck stuffed with foie gras (tasty, but not near enough foie gras!), tomato and goat cheese, and veal kidneys (my husband said it was tasty; I just couldn't try it). Service is friendly and attentive. This was our favorite restaurant of the numerous ones we tried in the St. Pierre area (including Morne Rouge and Carbet).More

Merci pour votre avis. Nous sommes très contents de faire parti de vos bons souvenirs de vacances. A bientôt !
Located in one of the most interesting areas on the island, the restaurant offers an outer space surrounded by vegetation and hummingbirds that place it as one of the best in the area.
To the children's zoo gate, surrounded by spectacular trees, provides a very...well - prepared traditional cuisine.
A good wine card and dessert sweets, they allow it to be held a highly recommended place.
Friendly, attentive and professional service, which is essentially in quality and traditionMore

Thank you ! nous sommes contents de faire parti de vos bons souvenirs de vacances. A bientôt !
Second year in a row 1643 delivered our best meal on the island. The setting is sublime, like a botanical garden. Service is impeccable and friendly as can be. Was Wife’s birthday so I stopped by the day before to make a reservation.
We started...with a salad of tomato and Chèvre with a surprising cup of delicious ice cream. I had the entrecôte (steak) and Donna had the salmon. Both superb. The day before I had asked if they had cake for the birthday and the proprietor said no, but then she said maybe. The cake came out after dinner and was a love surprise for both of us (although that meant no creme brûlée for me).
Don’t miss this exquisite experience.More

We had lunch here a few days ago while on vacation. It was one of the highlights of our trip! We arrived a little past 12 pm and ended up staying for about 2 1/2 hours to enjoy our lunch.
Their menu is electronic (on...tablets) and there are photos of each option. Even better, the menu can be pulled up in 5 languages - French, English, Spanish, Italian, and German - so it's fantastic for those tourists who don't have perfect French. Our servers were very patient with our attempts at speaking French, and were helpful with explaining things to us in English as needed.
For appetizers, we ordered the warm apple and goat cheese salad (the greens were fresh, the dressing was light, and the apple and goat cheese was fantastic) and the cucumber gazpacho (non-traditional since it was completely liquid but very tasty).
For our meals, we ordered the pork with plum sauce (the most flavorful and tender pork I've EVER eaten, with sides including a fantastic mashed beet, mashed yam with coconut milk, and cauliflower soufflé), and beef tagliata (cooked exactly as desired, with fantastic greens and chips made of baked cheese).
And dessert...of course (even though we were already full from the appetizer and meal). We ordered a crème brulee as well as the café gourmand (a sampler that included a mini crème brulee, chocolate mousse, coconut macaroon, pecan ice cream, and a walnut fudge-type dessert, plus espresso).
It was amazing! So worth the drive from WHEREVER you are on Martinique.More

Merci Katherine pour votre avis et votre recommandation. A bientôt !
It is by far one of the cheapest restaurants on Martinque, but it is worth it. They are devoted to give you a good meal. The service is great. We wanted to go back the next evening, but they were sold out. So call in...advance to be sure.More
