My daughter and I popped into Jesters one sunny morning for a pot of tea and a snack. Service was good. Pot of tea for 2 made 3 cups each. Homemade sausage roll and cheese scone were lovely. Very good value as well.

We've been to Jesters a few times as it's quite convenient with the small outside courtyard as we have a young child. However, every time I visit I feel disappointed. The mature staff, dare I say it, always come across as a little abrupt and grumpy and do not seem to have much patience for a small toddler. The last... More

I rated them only very good, after all we only popped in for a quick hot chocolate whilst taking the dog for a dander round Bungay. As we walked in we spotted the sign outside that boldly stated in fairly small lettering mind you that they had the 'best hot chocolate in Bungay'. We'd already been heading in for a... More

I wanted a cup of tea about 4.15 pm and Bungay was beginning to shut but Jesters happily served me and I learnt a lot of useful history about the castle and the town from the owner. Will definitely visit again

Delivers good food, always hot and good value. Each time though I have felt a bit rushed and both women are a bit abrupt. After my last visit one of the women couldn't wait to take our plates and in fact lent over my friend which we found very rude. We will not be using Jesters again, great shame as... More

Stopped in on route to taking the children to visit the castle. Very glad we did. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The menu caters for children, vegetarians and my own appetite, not only are the prices very reasonable, the portion sizes are certain to satisfy even the hungriest of explorers. Very happy to recommend this place to all hungry... More

Popped in here on a few occasions, nice place to sit outside during summer and a warm restaurant during the winter months. Good range of drinks and food with friendly and efficient service

Lovely tea room, ideal for lunches as well as tea/coffee and cake. All of the food is homemade as are the majority of the cakes. It's very reasonably priced with lovely portion sizes. In the summer, or in mild weather, it's lovely to sit in the courtyard.

Small tearoom close to castle and town centre Seating inside and out. We only had drinks but food and cakes being served looked very tempting - next time!
