After our first visit we were hooked. Tried the steak, fish and two different pork dishes - all excellent. The creamed pea soup with crispy ham was incredible. The staff are lovely and very attentive. Yes if you go when it's very busy you may have to be a little patient but once they take you order they are very... More

This is the first time that I have ever walked out of a restaurant. It was lunchtime but they were not particularly busy. We were there 15 minutes and no member of staff came near us, although we did see one waiter (?) looking after a table of six. A number of other guests/tables decided they did not like the... More

Read good reviews so we visited. First visit I had a vegetable soup which lacked taste followed by a goat stew which was good.Second visit had a very nice mixed cheese starter followed by a sparce dry piece of rabbit. Needs more attention to detail.

This restaurant is a really nice place for entertaining people or to have a romantic dinner. The food is excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. This place also has a room for private parties. One can dine either inside or outside, however wherever you eat you will not be disappointed.

Great food, and good value for money : you won't be disappointed. Lovely to sit on the terrace. My only point for improvement is that they should stay closer to their local cuisine, so building on their strengths. For example: the quality of the foie gras and mozarrella was not fantastic (nothing wrong with the freshness, but the taste is... More

We tried Carmen because it was in walking distance from La Villa and fur sure before we go home we will be back. Everything we selecte tasted well, was prepared as its supposed to be prepared and presented on the plate instead of dropped on a plate... Very friendly staff, just not everybody understands English which is confusing when you... More

A little off the main road, but well indicated, ample parking place and three cozy, well decorated rooms filled with agreeable furniture. Add a waiter who laughs constantly and speaks, apart from Spanish, also English, German, Dutch and even Swahili, and the conditions are set for a three course meal accompanied by half a liter of red wine. All this... More

Just a really horrific experience. Even for spain the service was lousy, wait times of over two hours for food, almost an hour just to get water. Food is certainly not worth the wait, if you are lucky to actually get what you ordered. The food looks like it came out of a microwave. There was absolutely nothing that would... More
