From the warm welcome on arriving to the great choice of fresh food, imaginative and really well cooked and presented, we were so well looked after. The staff were all really lovely and attentive when required to be. The quality of everything on offer was excellent and as it was the last night of our holiday was made really special... More

We came for a romantic holiday meal; leaving the Kids at home with Grandma as we escaped to The Tytherleigh Arms. It was much mentioned in the visitors book of the cottage we stayed at and, it turned out, with good reason. We started with a couple of glasses of a crisp Cote de Duras sitting in the courtyard at... More

What a place. Stumbled across it on our way to our holiday destination and stopped for a late lunch (2 adults, 2 children aged 9 and 6). Sat outside in the beautiful courtyard in the sunshine. The lady who looked after us was so lovely, welcoming and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Then the food arrived and it... More

We were a party of 9 and were surprised to be able to get a table at last minute, but when we arrived we realised why... we were the only diners and it was 8pm! Hopes were high when some complimentary canapes arrived. They were delicious. Then our meals came, what a disappointment. 2 were stone cold and had to... More

Booked the family room when visiting relatives in Lyme. I must say we were impressed with the standard of accommodation provided. The room is not a traditional hotel family room where someone has to put up with a sofa bed in the corner. The 'suite' consisted of a comfortable living room with sofas and tv, two separate comfy bedrooms and... More

We had a lovely overnight stay with a superb dinner and wonderful breakfast. There was attention to detail throughout and the room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

I quite often dine at the tytherleigh arms, living in musbury there's not much around for good food, so it's become my go to restaurant for good food, the restaurant offers a warm and cosy vibe with relaxed yet attentive service. Every time I go I start with scallops as it seems they have another variation of flavours to compliment... More

What a find. Found on the internet trawl for dog friendly pub just off the A35. Great decor, attentive young staff and the food was heaven. Home made pigeon in ravioli and roquefort and caramelised onion to start. Best duck I ve ever had for mains. Choc fondant was so worth the 20minute wait. Wines great. Couldn't fault it and... More

The Sunday Lunch we had was truly excellent. I had the beef which was the best cooked beef I have had for many a year ......the service was very good & the place was very tastefully done out in very pretty surroundings. What is not to like...? Nothing. Totally recommended.
