The whole evening was one amazing experience. To summarise, we had mulled cider at the ‘tractor stop’, a tractor ride down to the farm, apple brandy and two canapés in a yurt, a wander around the farm, two more canapés at our table, a sumptuous...More

Had a late lunch/early dinner following a foraging day. A thoroughly enjoyable meal that we would not even contemplate if we saw it on a restaurant menu. Excellent ingredients, well cooked and well presented. A great finish to a great day.

Had a really nice meal with great attentive service. We managed to spend a very relaxed couple of hours in the end with a full three courses. The hanger steak was amazing. We'll be back for Xmas!

Had a brilliant office away day, making bread and pasta followed by an amazing dinner. Each element of the day was well organised, we were well looked after throughout. Dinner was exceptional. Thanks to the River Cottage team

I always use a light vegetable oil generally and a good quality olive oil occasionally. Tried rapeseed oil but not over keen on the flavour.

Hi there - it's smart / casual but with sturdy shoes, we are a farm with uneven ground. Also, layers are good in case it rains or turns cooler in the evening. Jeans are acceptable. In fact, pretty much anything goes!

Hi there, I'm afraid we do not allow dogs on the farm due to our livestock.
