About
A lovely gem of a restaurant with a quirky, bohemian feel serving interesting food and great drinks. All of the meats are locally sourced, fish is from the south coast and the majority of the vegetables are picked on the day. Most of the wines are organic and there is a short but balanced cocktail menu. Lots of cool decor and low lighting give this place a great ambiance.

I had a lovely evening visiting the Giant’s club with my friends. Lovely staff and atmosphere. I had phoned the restaurant a week in advance to explain I was vegetarian and could not eat goats cheese. When we arrived there was no printed menu including...More

Brilliant. If you like choice and normal go somewhere else. If you want a different experience and great food then it’s superb!

We have been here a number of times and have always been impressed. This evening we took the teenagers ..... out if their comfort zone but they loved it. They were captivated by the fact they had no choice in what they ate ( no...More

I find a lot of restaurants a bit samey and not very exciting. You know you are on for something different the moment you enter the door. You get a friendly greeting as soon as you enter and the décor is "interesting". Each of the...More

My partner and I have got to that stage in life whereby we try and give each other a new experience as a birthday present. My partner decided on a visit to The Giant's Club would fill the bill. We arrived at a very a...More

I am a real foodie and I am usually disappointed when I dine out but - WOW! Everything was amazing - lovely atmosphere, first class food (6 courses - I loved the brisket of beef croustades and the plums and corn - who knew that...More

Visited with friends, excellent food, excellent service and a great atmosphere. I can honestly say this was one of the best restaurant meals I have had. We will be back (even though it was a six hour drive from Kent!)

Visited on 24 August with friends for my husband’s birthday. We were not disappointed. This meal was probably the best we have eaten anywhere in a very long time. All the courses were completely original. The sweet corn custard was particularly brilliant but all the...More

I love food, but hate the pretentiousness sometimes associated with it (mostly from uninteresting people). I'm also turned off by over-the-top costs that excludes many people from experiencing good food. So when I went to the Giant Club last Friday, I embraced the whole concept...More

We live locally and have been meaning to try the Giant Club for a while. The interior is quirky and comfortable but not plush. The cocktails are excellent. We enjoyed the food very much and you can tell them in advance if you are allergic...More

Hi there, Yes booking is required as we can't accept walk-ins. We offer a set 6 course menu for £30 so need to know about any dietary requirements in advance. A day or two is fine though! Best wishes, Gideon
