Always have enjoyed our meal and time at La Ruina. The menu is limited, but varied enough for anyone's taste. Fresh seafood, good burgers. Chicken dishes are delish, too. A unique building with lots of history - going back to World War 2 - and fascinating photos on the walls to tell it. It is located in the pueblito of... More

Just to say we were very disappointed they were closed for July/August while we were there. We had heard and read so much good reviews on their hospitality and food we were looking forward to visiting the restaurant which was close to our condo we were staying at. Keep up the good work La Ruina, maybe one day.

A friendly place, well decorated and quick service. Open area to get a cool breeze during our meal. Has a full bar to quench your thirst.

La Ruina is an owner-managed place, an impressive building in the middle of New Gorgona. Have been there once only, on an afternoon. Good food, friendly service and Frank, the owner told us the story of the place. Very impressive.

We have been to la Ruina's 2 times during our month long stay in Gorgona. We had wings both times and they were great! The owner is friendly & we listened to fantastic band too. Great expat bar to hang out and relax!!

English and Spanish spoken here. Good food, drinks, and a good time. My husband and I were in Panama and it was Super Bowl Sunday. La Ruina had a traditional Super Bowl Party and it was a great time! I've eaten dinner here multiple times and the food is good, the service quick, and it is always a good time.... More

We went to watch an NFL playoff game. Frank, the owner is an expat American and very friendly. Had several beer and some wings during the game and were surprised at how small the bill was. Sorry we couldn't visit more often.
