Visited Vale de lobo for a week and had planned to visit 7 restaurants once each. We loved Sandbanks so much that we visited here twice and cancelled Another restaurant. Welcome was great and round tables were superb for our party of 7. Starters were...excellent both in terms of quality and volume. Main courses were also superb. Service was truly excellent and food was served promptly. Wine was also priced reasonably. All in all, our favourite restaurant by a long way. Will undoubtedly be back!More

We like stopping here for breakfast after our morning walk. The breakfasts are excellent but there is a definite pecking order for seating! I was shocked too to be told that their tap water is not drinkable - hope that isn’t just a ploy to...sell more bottled water but I can’t believe they would do that. Still, not great if the water at VdL is not drinkable.More

As my family went to the mall, and I was alone, thought it would be the moment do eat seafood, as my very young children dont like it... yet. So, alone I went to Sandbanks at 7,30pm anatd explained the situation, and that I was...there for the lobster. They said it was full, with 90% of the tables stiĺl free. Siting at a bar overlooking the restaurant, at 8,30pm,still 80% free. Did'nt quite understand the concept of "full". Maybe beeing alone...More

Came here for breakfast before our continued vacation to Alentejo. Service was swift with nice staff who were able to give us some tips for our next stops. Breakfast by the beach is a must and this is possibly the best place to have it...in Algarve.More

We wanted an evening out with good food and a nice location. We certainly got far more than we hoped for. The location was stunning, the staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be going back next time...we are out thereMore

We enjoyed a lovely dinner with our family group, including great food & drink complimented by very friendly service. The setting of the restaurant is amazing, right on the edge of the beach. The seared tuna steak was absolutely delicious, as was the prawn curry....If you are coming to Val do Lobo this restaurant has to be on your list!More

Fabulous setting. Stylish understated decor. Efficient very friendly service. And the food was delicious. We have eaten lunch there regularly but never dinner before. And it was a special evening.

Loved the prawn linguine, mussels, clams, squid. Less impressed with the curry which was not as flavoursome. The monkfish and prawn rice is OK but I have had better elsewhere as this one is slightly too tomatoey for my liking and not enough of the...seafood stock taste I prefer.More

We had a lovely lunch overlooking the ocean. The prawns and sea bass were very nice and the staff attentive. The cocktails are very good and worth the visit.
