All reviews eggs benedict seafood sea bass rice fresh fish salad curry clams steak monkfish overlooking the beach full english great location great lunch lovely restaurant few years great food and service
We ate breakfast and dinner her during our holiday. For breakfast we both ordered eggs benedict but the eggs were overdone. When we ate dinner we couldn’t fault the food, service was ok could have been a little more attentive
Great choice! We eat the “arroz de marisco” excellently made, full of flavor and with all that is needed to be called a Portuguese sea food rice. The ambience was nice and relaxed as should on a holidays meal.
With so many places closed at the moment we were so relieved that Sandbanks was open! Great food, reasonably priced and the service was great. Lovely servers and a really friendly atmosphere. Definitely try the fresh crab dish - tasted fantastic!
Booked a table and had nice dining experience followed by a drink on the roof terrace
Excellent spot and atmosphere
Staff very pleasant and helpful
We all rated our meal 7 to 8 out of ten
Would definitely eat here again if Boris keeps...the bridge open!More
Was here 2 nights ago, friendly, efficient and helpful staff, if we had left after the starters would have been 5 stars. Melba toast and homemade sardine pate was lovely, Chicken Panko and Crab avocado cucumber and mango, was huge and very tasty. Nice bottle...of the Rose blush, all good. Mains for me was Seabass, boiled potatoes and steamed veg. Fish was beautiful but not filleted so time consuming picking out the bones and potatoes and veg plain and boring.
My wife had the Tiger prawns starter as a main and looked lovely but all flavour swamped by the lemongrass. Had coriander etc but couldn’t taste anything else. Should have sent it back really.
Wouldn’t put you off going, nice location, nice views but there are better places hereMore
Enjoyed this place for breakfast - nice traditional UK food. Service a bit slow. Good views, but a little annoying the kept the window seats reserved even though no one took any of them while for the whole time we were there.
Very much trading on the location, very expensive for what is average food - not special at all. Service friendly but very very slow, even when quiet. Child’s chicken was undercooked resulting in a very poorly child within 4 hours of eating it. We were...disappointedMore

I've been here a week and they've made slow progress, by June you should be fine, it's not detracted from our stay in V do L at all. We're not in the hotel so I can't comment on that, good news is that the beach is in really good nick having had tons of sand reclaimed from the sea and spread evenly. Worry not.
