Had lunch here today, Monday and found a great pub, lovely food and excellent service. Obviously not as busy as at a weekend but got a table fine and we enjoyed the soup and a sandwich. Would highly recommend .

Always very popular and a great position. It seems churlish to say that its popularity reduces the enjoyment. Nevertheless it has a good fish menu and we enjoyed the fish platter; the popular crab soup was a bit of an anti-climax.

We went on a Sunday, and it was fully booked. Tables a bit close together! The food was acceptable, being of good quality, but I considered the cooking was a bit below top rate, especially when compared with other places in Craster.

Craster is one our favourite places in Northumberland and we visit regularly. We decided to try The Jolly Fisherman for dinner during the Easter holidays. What a disappointment! We arrived early for our table and had to stand at the bar as no seats available...More
