As a seafood restaurant it does what it says on the tin, and they do it incredibly well. Friendly service from the outset they were happy to tweak their offer and explain the dishes. Be warned that the portions are generous as our stomachs are still full.

This is a small very friendly restaurant with lovely views took 85 year old mother and my wife for a fish meal. The service offered is second to none the food was very nice and clean We all had Haddock and after we had deserts to die for. The wine was good quality for the price. The staff made this... More

The menu is an interesting mixture of seafood and South American. The local kippers (smoked on the premises) are incredible. It is a small restaurant only open 6.30 to 8 in the evening. Best to book and phone when they are open as they don't tend to answer the phone at other times.

We always try to eat here when we are in Northumberland, as it's beautIfully situated beside the harbour, with wonderful views along the coast, and serves wonderful seafood at very reasonable prices. We ate here again in a couple of weeks ago, and the food was excellent, but this time the dishes had a Brazilian twist to them. The starter... More

This restaurant should be on everyone’s list when in Craster or nearby. The food was some of the best I had during the two weeks we traveled around Northumberland. The trio of fish pates was divine and, of course, the kippers were yummy. The night I ate here I had scallops and shrimp on a butternut squash puree. I have... More

A charmingly situated restaurant associated with the craster smoke house. Lots of interesting menu options with little twists from the Brazilian chef team. Butternut squash with coconut, baked crab, cerveche of haddock. Excellent efficient crew. The place had a very happy welcoming atmosphere. About £25 - &30 a head.

Food was amazing, the skink soup to start was delicious. Fish cakes were the best I've had, lots of flavour and fish as opposed to being mainly potatoe. There are also some meat dishes and the beef brisket was bey tasty and the portion WA huge! Lovely setting overlooking harbour in Craster, staff welcoming and great atmosphere.

Hadn't been to Craster for a few years, and never to eat. So great to find not only a great fish restaurant, but one with a Brazilian twist (3 Brazilian cooks). Three of us for lunch; I had Casquinha de Siri (crab). Really good and just right for lunch - not too heavy. Excellent service and a view up the... More

Excellent food and service in this informal rather quaint eatery. Fantastic views as well. We visited for my daughter's birthday and intend to revisit when we return to the area on holiday soon. An essential visit to a lovely place and the most helpful friendly staff you can imagine. We loved it!

We had several meals here, all were very good indeed, imaginative and well cooked and served. It's not cordon bleu, just good honest dishes that will satisfy anyone, thoroughly recommended.
