Went there for dinner last Friday. We were a party of two looking for a quick, relaxed meal but unfortunately we were forced to sit there unattended for ages and the entire duration of a two course early dinner was 2.5hours. Painful. Service: All other...tables received bread. We had to remind our waiter that they got none. Under-stocked beer selection meant that I had to have three different beers during the course of my meal because they only had one of each. I was never told this and when I asked for another beer I was always met with an alternative. Irritating. Cooking: I had a starter of mango, basil and prawns. Maybe it's personal preference but I cannot understand why you would serve whole prawns cold in this manner. Too much finger-fidgeting in amongst the salad to enjoy the combination of flavours. My dinner guest had the tuna for her main and the tuna wasn't even scaled. Horrible experience trying to pick out fish scales in between bites. I pointed this out to the waiter and he nodded, collected the plates and that was that. Never came back to say that he had spoken with the chef or that he would like to offer us a drink etc. It is difficult to find good seafood in Brussels but this is by far the worst seafood restaurant I have ever been to. Please avoid, for your own sake.More

Excellent food, especially the razor clams and meuniere white fish, friendly/cool atmosphere and good wine too. The service did deteriorate as the meal went on though and by dessert it felt a little under staffed.

A lofty atmosphere, family-like french porcelain, lovely antique glasses and then a very modern fusion cuisine, to me a great mix. I was intrigued by an unusual mix of duck breast lying in a Thai infusion, crowned by ‘fois gras’ and topped with crunchy rice...puffs and smaller mussels, simply divine. Service and wine recommendations simply round it up.More

Amazingly rich tastes and plenty of volume are served on your plates! The crab with eggs is wonderfully done - and it is equally filling despite appearing as a starter on the menu. The sashimi on the other hand melts in your mouth leaving a...pleasant aftertaste and certainly very little on your waistline. The octopus and pork combo deserves its fame! Soft, crunchy, tender, juicy and dry sensations all come together through this well composed plate. The crab is a whole new story: it reminded me of the best dish from a Vietnamese master-chef (the chef at Crab Club it turns out actually does come from Vietnam): a fabulous mountain of a bonanza of tastes!!! So come here for the great food and the good service, but be aware that the place is intimate: you need to walk through the kitchen literally to go down some non-child friendly stairs to the toilets (where luxury oddly pops us again in the form of cloth towels and ample space to wash your hands after your fight with your crab). The tables are small, the ambiance is heavily influenced by the other guests you're there with (you will be part of their conversation, like it or not, and vice versa) Contrary to the other reviews we had amazing service and have even been welcomed by some of the family behind this establishmentMore

I absolutely loved this place. Great food, nice combinations of ingredients. Super fresh fish, the menu changes. The service is very good, the waiter explained very patiently all the dishes. Loved it from beginning to the end. A bit pricey but worth it.

The menu, like the restaurant and the kitchen, is small. But what they do, regardless of what you order, is pure joy. Highly recommend the egg cocotte with crab. Good wine selection, cozy environment and friendly service.

It was a veritable masterpiece of bad service. The waiter knowingly shrugged and displayed a complete lack of indifference, and it made us hope that this arrogance would be justified by the food. It wasn't. Over priced, small portions and abysmal service

Overall, very mixed feeling. Service very slow. The turteau (crab) was very good. On the other hand the octopus portion was almost intangible and the portion of cuttlefish sashimi almost inexistent...really a joke for that price. Choose wisely from the menu or remain hungry!

I came here with my mom and brother. The waitress was very friendly and the decor of the restaurant is super nice. The food was really good. The starters a bit on the small side, but the mains were very large. A few points for...improvement: No aperitif was presented or asked for No non-alcoholic options besides a lemonade and water No tea, only coffee Here they missed the opportunity for a larger turn-over, which would be nice so they could lower the prices of the food by a few percentages. (30 euro for beef?!?!) The dessert was noted on the menu as a mouilleux au chocolat (chocolate lava cake) but it was more a brownie. But nevertheless good, but not the same thing.More

After all publicity and the hundreds of nice pictures we were very curious to eat at this place. Well place and service was ok but the food absolutely not like on the pictures. Prices were good but we were both sick afterwards. So a no...go for usMore
