Very nice and cosy and warm place to have your coffee and some sweets. Coffee not so great, though very nice, warm, kind and smiling people work here.

Absolutely recommend for utterly delicious Portuguese delicacies. Coffee was good too & the sitting area is very pleasant. It's indeed expensive, you do get what you pay for.

This café is very well decorated and it's just a pleasure to sit there and read or chat. They offer very authentic portuguese pastries that are super delicious. The whole atmosphere is very familiar and nice. I absolutely recommend coming here!

Good variety of delicious portuguese desserts, very friendly and fast service, fair prices and, most of all, good ambience - relaxed atmosphere. Definately an excellent choice!!

Love the pasteis and different pastries Forcado offers. They're not the cheapest but they are always a treat. I've never been disappointed and I find the staff friendly and all smiles... even when I went it 5 minutes before closing time once, after they had already cleaned the floor.

I have been to Forcado before and I enjoyed the place and the patisserie. Last Sunday I went again and got there at 5 pm (when, if not for a Sunday afternoon tea...). We were not welcomed at all by this directive that they do not accept people after 5 (it was 5.05, to be precise) to sit at tables.... More

Dear Miladyf2016, We are very sorry your experience wasn't up to the expectations this time. It is not a matter of being commercial or not but we have a rather strict policy of closing the main room at 5pm. You have to understand that we rather open more days (6 days a week) than more hours and this for the... More

I love the pastries and the good coffee. Great that there are plenty of gluten free options too. A must in Brussels!

I love going there for a coffee and a pastel de nata (they have different options, like the lemon one, which are nice, but in the end I always prefer the original pasteis) The place is cosy and well decorated (it can be crowded during weekends) and the staff is really friendly. I also like the fact that they sell... More

They serve very delicious and original versions of pasteis de nata where you cannot find anywhere else! Plus the interior is well done and cosy to stay and enjoy your coffee and cake. Staff is also super friendly! Side note: the prices for wine bottles are actually very interesting and they have some quality bottles of excellent Portuguese wine!

this is the place to be for a very good tea, and pastry that you don't find in other places in Brussels. Most importantly, the place is very cozy and remarkably relaxing, would make a great spot for an early afternoon tea.
