What a great neighbourhood restaurant. The short menu changes weekly according to what is seasonal . Food is imaginative, delicious and sustaining. Very professional and prompt service . Wish we lived in Brussels and could visit again.

This restaurant is perfect both food wise and ambiance. Food wise, you choose between 3 options in each starters and mains, all of which change on a regular basis depending on produce. Each dish is perfectly cooked and tasty and offered at a very reasonable...price. Staff is kind and helpful and when it comes to recommendations, knowledgeable. The open kitchen lets you see into the perfectly synchronised dance between the different chefs! Would recommend for any groups or for a romantic dinner too!More
Young enthusiastic staff in a bustling restaurant with innovative menu offering new taste experiences. Wines focus on natural wines which I do not enjoy, but was able to find a nice “regular” Malbec from Italy.
Everything was incredible: excellent service, superb food, very good value for money. Only 2 starters, 2 main courses and one dessert are on the lunch menu, but everything was cooked with flair, imagination and high quality ingredients. We walked here for lunch when we had...time to kill waiting for our Eurostar from Brussels to London. Around 25 min walk from the station.More
Got to know this place after watching an episode on munchies. The head chef/owner welcomed us and helped us out by offering vegetarian option for my partner that was not on the menu. We had a high standard meal with a lovely wine to go...with it. Service was exceptional and very efficient. Could not recommend it more.More
We had a wonderful lunch here! Products are fresh, seasonal and amazingly prepared. We could choose between two starters, two main courses and two desserts. This smaller menu assured the quality of the dishes. As we are not wine experts, we could count on the...expertise of the staff who recommended us the perfect wine for every dish. Very lovely chef as well! You just feel the love for the food he prepares. This all for a very reasonable price! Thanks for this lovely experience. We will definitely come back.More
We went to Le 203 for a lunch date round Saint Gilles. The menu changes every Wednesday to no more than two options for starters, mains and desserts. You don’t need anything more. The seasonal flavours make this place feel like home, while the enclosed...terrace captures all the available light through glass surface. Highly recommended but make sure to book well in advance - and for a good reason.More
Fantastic experience. The chef is talented and since the menu only had a few options the composition of the dishes was well thought out. The waiters was observant, quick and caring. Considering the level of food and service provided, the price was abnormally cheap.
Tried this little restaurant together with a group of friends. Very small meny but all very delicious. I tried the crudo de maigre and the cod as main. Both delicious with nice flavours. For dessert we had the lemon curd and yoghurt icecream with crumble...- divine. Staff helpful and friendly, however the service could be a bit quicker (long time before orders were taken and long time between the dishes).More
We had heard about this place a few times and were keen to try it out. It didn’t disappoint. Worth mentioning the very friendly welcome which is unfortunately still not the norm in many places in Brussels. The place had a cosy feel - we...were seated in the back near the small garden/terrace. The onglet was very tender and my fish with home made kimchi and rice was also very well done -my only comment would be that a bit of sauce would have been welcome (was nearly edging on the dry side) and the amount of rice could have been reduced (didn’t need so much). Starters of mussels and ricotta mouse were delicious. Overall we loved the place. The only thing is that sitting near the kitchen in the back our clothes really smelled for some time afterwards. Maybe a better ventilation? But otherwise great and happy with this new addition to the neighbourhood.More
I love this place....menu is small but the food always interesting combinations. And very very good value. Excellent vibe, decor food
We had the lunch menu and chose the fish dish. What a great surprise! It was delicious, a bit like sophisticated home-made cooking. The atmosphere was great and the staff was really pleasant, polite and helpful. A great encounter. I need to go there again.......(never) 2 without 3...More
Living in Brussels, we went for a family dinner (5 pax) to celebrate our youngest daughter’s 23rd BD so she chose the place and we all really liked it. This apparently used to be a (small) school and they actually re-use the old school furniture...which is rather funky. The kitchen is located in the middle of the restaurant and one can even eat at the counter while watching how and what the chef is preparing. Totally seat capacity is around 35 pax. Besides the chef and his wife (or GF), only one additional staff, which gives it a nice cozy feel. The do not have a proper menu, only a board with 3/4 suggestions for starters, mains and dessert from which one can choose. They change these every week according to the supplies, season and the chef’s inspiration. We all ordered different things to see what they looked & tasted like and everything we had was original, refined and very tasty. The only downside of this set up is that when you leave, your clothes really smell as if you had been standing next to the chef the whole time, but not a big issue. We will certainly return and can only recommend the 203.More
This restaurant is one of a kind in Brussels in that strikes the right mix between simple tastes/quality of the raw materials and creativity. Dishes are innovative yet not too pretentious. Ambience and style remind of certain cool spots in Brooklyn or Cape Town (the...chef in fact comes from South Africa). Best restaurant in Brussels at the moment in my view.More
In my 3 years living in Belgium I always missed a good spot where food & creativity can bring a new experience. This place was an excellent surprise. It s not one of those super famous places, and we got to know it under the...advice of several friends, even though we live 5min by walk from it. The menus are cooked weekly so there is no much choice (which if you are an insuecure person as I am when it comes to order food, it might be a good thing, anyways, believe me whatever you get there will be exceptionally good). Normally they have 2 choices for the entree, 3 choices for the mains and 2 choices for the desserts.(there is always something good for vegeterians) The wine list is also good. The place is very small and the cheff cooks in the middle of the restaurant. The staff is extremely nice, polite and super helpful. Booking in advance is required: I had to book 3 weeks in advance (for 3 people on saturday evening at 19.15). The booking can be done directly on their website and you get immedeately a confirmation by e mail. The price: it might seem a bit pricey but take in account that all the ingredients are super fresh, and that you ll hardly find such good mixture of ingredients in Brussels. We paid 142€ for 3 entree, 3 mains and 3 desserts, 1 bottle of wine, 1 beer, 1 water. I ll definetely be back!More
