Got to know this place after watching an episode on munchies. The head chef/owner welcomed us and helped us out by offering vegetarian option for my partner that was not on the menu. We had a high standard meal with a lovely wine to go with it. Service was exceptional and very efficient. Could not recommend it more.

We went to Le 203 for a lunch date round Saint Gilles. The menu changes every Wednesday to no more than two options for starters, mains and desserts. You don’t need anything more. The seasonal flavours make this place feel like home, while the enclosed terrace captures all the available light through glass surface. Highly recommended but make sure to book well in advance - and for a good reason.

We had a wonderful lunch here! Products are fresh, seasonal and amazingly prepared. We could choose between two starters, two main courses and two desserts. This smaller menu assured the quality of the dishes. As we are not wine experts, we could count on the expertise of the staff who recommended us the perfect wine for every dish. Very lovely chef as well! You just feel the love for the food he prepares. This all for a very reasonable price!
Thanks for this lovely experience. We will definitely come back.

This restaurant is perfect both food wise and ambiance. Food wise, you choose between 3 options in each starters and mains, all of which change on a regular basis depending on produce. Each dish is perfectly cooked and tasty and offered at a very reasonable price.
Staff is kind and helpful and when it comes to recommendations, knowledgeable. The open kitchen lets you see into the perfectly synchronised dance between the different chefs!
Would recommend for any groups or for a romantic dinner too!

All this is very "in", very in tune with the times, we have understood many things. First, know how to make yourself wanted, and therefore organize scarcity. Expertly orchestrating a line, people “in the know” rush to this kind of concept, it activates the hormone of exclusivity. From 6:30 p.m., the first ones rush in, because, you see, there are no reservations, the first to arrive ("preum's!") is the first seated. You can try your luck on the second serve, but will you try random?
We would have sincerely hated it if the plate hadn't been so convincing. Note well, nothing extraordinary either, we are neither in the molecular, nor in the re-creation of the glorious hours of haute bourgeois cuisine, although the latter is particularly trendy, post-pandemic. No, curiously, readable dishes, with a frank taste, accompanied by great wines, all in a rather playful atmosphere. It was necessary to make us forget the raw walls and the “back to school” chairs.
So, very good, this meat croquette, elegantly accompanied by a slightly sweet sauce and another rather spicy one. It's as tasty as it should be. And very good too, this very green veggie risotto, literally, but also because the herbs trace a common thread. We are perhaps a little more doubtful about the dessert, a chocolate mousse, which costs a lot of calories. It doesn't matter: we still love each other.

Fabulous meal - adventurous veggie options
With vegetarian members of the family we are very used to bland fare but this restaurant provided delicious interesting options like a burnt leek goats cheese starter and fennel risotto main course. The meals are very unique and when eaten with all the sauces around the plate is such a lovely and different flavour. My daughter is vegetarian and a picky eater and loved the meal even if she didn’t know what vegetable it was. Very busy at weekends. We had to wait 45 mins at peak time and it was totally worth it. We sat at the bar overlooking the cooking area - a real treat. Our only disappointment is that it is closed on our last night a Sunday. Worth traveling to - a gem

Per chance, we arrived in Brussels and were lost. This lovely man approached us and asked if he could help us. We started chatting and we asked him if he had any recommendations for dinner. He said that he is the chef and owner of Le 203.
We walked for 40 minutes in the rain to come for dinner.
The food, ambiance and service were incredible.
My husband ordered the beef tartare as an appetizer. He had the falafel and I had the fish. For dessert we had bananas and chocolate and pineapple dessert with ice cream.
Each dish is lovingly plated and is delicious. The flavors blended together in perfect harmony.
We have traveled a lot and have eaten out in many restaurants. Le 203 is up there as one of our favorites.

Everything was incredible: excellent service, superb food, very good value for money.
Only 2 starters, 2 main courses and one dessert are on the lunch menu, but everything was cooked with flair, imagination and high quality ingredients.
We walked here for lunch when we had time to kill waiting for our Eurostar from Brussels to London. Around 25 min walk from the station.

Quite frankly, and this is rare, 203 not only remains a great address, but is even improving with time! These days it's flawless. The starters are more hearty than before and the chicken nugget option is absolutely delicious. It's a nice change when you want to balance it all out with the fish in the dish, for example, which is just succulent. Before, there was a tendency to focus a little too much attention on the main course to the detriment of the starter (according to my subjective opinion of course). The desserts are both light and delicious, perfect for ending on a sweet note. To drink, it's still just as good with quality wines and digestives that pair perfectly with desserts. In a previous comment, I criticized their waiting system without reservation but I actually correct myself. Even that is good once you get the hang of it. Of course you have to come early to get a table for the first service, but there is always the second service to make up for it and, if you do it well, it always works out. In the end, it's even one of the rare restaurants in the city where you can go at the last minute without being hit with a "full" order. In short, it's great, keep it up! 🙏

What a great neighbourhood restaurant. The short menu changes weekly according to what is seasonal . Food is imaginative, delicious and sustaining. Very professional and prompt service . Wish we lived in Brussels and could visit again.

Young enthusiastic staff in a bustling restaurant with innovative menu offering new taste experiences. Wines focus on natural wines which I do not enjoy, but was able to find a nice “regular” Malbec from Italy.

Fantastic experience. The chef is talented and since the menu only had a few options the composition of the dishes was well thought out.
The waiters was observant, quick and caring.
Considering the level of food and service provided, the price was abnormally cheap.

Tried this little restaurant together with a group of friends. Very small meny but all very delicious. I tried the crudo de maigre and the cod as main. Both delicious with nice flavours. For dessert we had the lemon curd and yoghurt icecream with crumble - divine. Staff helpful and friendly, however the service could be a bit quicker (long time before orders were taken and long time between the dishes).

We had heard about this place a few times and were keen to try it out. It didn’t disappoint. Worth mentioning the very friendly welcome which is unfortunately still not the norm in many places in Brussels. The place had a cosy feel - we were seated in the back near the small garden/terrace. The onglet was very tender and my fish with home made kimchi and rice was also very well done -my only comment would be that a bit of sauce would have been welcome (was nearly edging on the dry side) and the amount of rice could have been reduced (didn’t need so much). Starters of mussels and ricotta mouse were delicious. Overall we loved the place. The only thing is that sitting near the kitchen in the back our clothes really smelled for some time afterwards. Maybe a better ventilation? But otherwise great and happy with this new addition to the neighbourhood.
