Lovely ambiance and interior. Something different from the other restaurants in the area. Also cocktails were delicious. The only thing that wasn’t 5/5 was the food: maybe I was unlucky with my selection but both my pre and main course were a bit on the...flat side with their taste. For instance langouistine and pasta were over-cooked and even if the sauces had a fresh and nice taste, it didn’t save the experience. However, the list sounded inviting, so I think I’ll give this place another try especially since my friends really enjoyed their meals.More

A buddy and I were looking for something different. So, I did a google search and found this restaurant. What a wonderful surprise ! Not only was the food excellent (and at a very reasonable price) but the service was absolutely spot on ! Smiley...people (even behind their mask you could see the friendliness in their eyes !) It was very relaxing to be in this restaurant. And all round great experience ! I'll be back.More

I hadn't been to the place since it has it's new name ... so that was quite a while. We were not disappointed. When we arrived, the man who greeted us (the manager we assume) appeared a little grumpy. We probably discivered why. The waitress...who helped us (Emma) was so wonderful, sharing her favorites ... She told us she had to draft her boyfriend to come and serve that evening, because they were short of staff - some had not shown up. that probably explains the worries of the manager when we arrived. But Emma made tghe difference. Good food, good athmosphere, a perfect romantic evening for the two of us. We hope to be back ... with the salme level of service.More

With apologies to the famous Victorian English novelist, Charles Dickens - it was the best of waitresses, it was the worst of waitresses. For the best of waitresses, I give you Emma - rarely has such a charming young waitress enhanced our dining experience as...much as she did on the evening of Saturday 7 December 2019. Nothing was too much trouble for her, she spent time translating from French to English some of the menu items, engaged in conversation, and was generally an all-round example of what a great waitress should be. For the worst of waitresses, well that may be an over exaggeration, but Ms X (name unknown) needs to drop her ‘attitude’. Willing to greet our part-Belgian / part-English party of six in both French and English on arrival, and to do likewise upon our departure, she was nonetheless able to cause offence to one of our Belgian hosts when asked if the menu was available in English. A simple - ‘I’m sorry, no’ - would have sufficed, but instead the reply was along the lines of - ‘We are in Belgium, why should we have menus in English?’ (with such an attitude is it any wonder the U.K. voted in favour of Brexit)?! Drop the ‘attitude’ dear, and you may find people remember their dining experience at your restaurant with a greater degree of pleasure. Thankfully the delightful Emma rescued the evening. I have deliberately not commented on the quality of food, to highlight the relative importance of customer service to the overall dining experience.More

Excellent food but the service was improbably slow (waited over half an hour for the apero), inattentive (didn’t give a damn about one of us having serious food allergy) and arrogant (told us off when we cautiously dared to ask questions about allergenics in the...food or voiced some mild concerns). Very sad that I will have to renounce in the future to one of my favourite restaurants in the quarter.More

We have been waiting for an hour and half and the waitress is impolite. slow and below standards. Large margins for improvement.

Second visit and confirmation of the quality. Cocktails are simply extraordinary. We tasted some in our first visit and new ones in the second. Simply amazing. Food was tasty, top quality primary materials (vegetables in particular) and main dishes were executed impeccably both in terms...of “point” and presentation. There is room for improvement in the service. Tough they’re kind and helpful, they’re clearly overwhelmed when the place is full so you wait a bit too much between dishes, to get an extra knife or the bill. For this last bit, ours was inexact and needed to be redone twice. That’s unsatisfactory in a place like this. Finally is slightly expensive but not overpriced. the quality and the Art of the cook largely compensate it!More

Very nice food and the waiter was very nice...However she was alone and the wait was way too long. To the point that it spoiled the whole experience. We were looking forward to enjoying dessert but we left because we did not want to wait...further. Too bad!!More

Really liked L'improbable. Very nice atmosphere, where you have the possibility to have a proper chat. Food isn't cheap, but very correct considering the flavours, combinations and presentation. In our case, this restaurant was perfect for a special occasion and we'll definitely consider coming back...!More

Enjoyed dinner in this cosy place. You can choose the patio or the more cosy room. Excellent dinner. Nice carte. Carpaccio de st jacques is perfect. Very kind personnel always there to help and not invasive.

And I am so excited I realised I never reviewed after the first visit so hopefully my memory will serve me right. So yes an old factory building - totally stunning in an area that for me is quite rough and ready - a rare...treat. So we had a girls lunch here. It was a bit to early so sample the G&T selection but we have booked dinner with friends for this Friday so definitely the opportunity then! We sampled the scallops start (divine) and duck for main course (perfectly cooked). Service was absolutely excellent. I can not fault one single thing. So looking forward to going back!More
