Artisauce was recommended by a friend of ours as a place “You should really check out”. We were able to reserve a table and were greeted by the patron who explained what was on the menu and conversed with us about the dishes. When the...dishes arrived we were extremely glad we decided to visit Artisauce. You can practically taste the passion and love for the food. The lobster ravioli I ordered was so good we ordered an extra plate to share with my friends. I like my beef rare to medium rare and I was not disappointed. In Belgian cuisine rare is really rare with a nice sear on the meat and not bloody when you cut it. Artisauce nailed it. This was one of the greatest culinary experiences I have had for a very reasonable price.More

Unfortunely the food was under our expectations. You can choose between just 4 different main dishes, from 30 to 36 euro each. The cabillaud wasn’t tasty at all, same for the small amount of vegetables close to them and the smashed potatoes really simple. The...pork was good even tought the clove was too much strong on the sauce. With the fork 40%’s discount the price was ok for the Brussels’s standards, otherwise 30 euro for each main dishes would have been definely overpriced for what we had.More

A very nice discovery well located in Brussels. This family-run is perfectly managed. The son (cook) is the only person in the kitchen doing everything. His parents help him at the weekend for the service. Consequently the menu is short: 3 starters / 3 mains.../ 2 desserts but the quality is outstanding. And the whole service isn't slow at all. The place itself is modern and you directly feel at ease. A perfect evening and do not miss their homemade limoncello... direct trip to heaven!More

Nice small family run restaurant serving good (not outstanding) meals. Menu choice v limited, which is due to only one person cooking (which must be exhausting!). Table service needs major improvement: the gentleman is very kind and charming, but the waitress is frankly useless. On...our table there were bird excrements when we arrived (sitting in the patio) and instead of changing the table cloth she simply took them off... Good wine list. Quite pricey though, but reflects prices in that area of Brussels. In short: nice place to go but lower your expectations (the TripAdvisor rating is inflated).More

It is extremely expensive for what you get, .. 20€ for 5 asparagus??! 16€ for 2(!) croquetes??! 30% discount à la carte according to booking.com not applied. Very few tables being served but still took 3,5 hours to get the starter and a main. Quantity...questionable, medium rare understood as medium... quite disappointing in generalMore

Having viewed this restaurant on Tripadvisor many times over the last few years, I decided to book and visit last week when a friend came to visit. WOW, the warm and friendly greeting upon arrival was really appreciated from the ‘maitre D’ (father of the...chef). He spent time going through each course in detail from the limited menu but don’t let that deter you from visiting because each course is delivered with perfection. The food was delicious, the wine selection was very good but the service made our visit feel extra special. Thank you team Artisauce. My only disappointment was that it has taken me four years to visit this restaurant. We will return very soon and if you have the opportunity, just book it.More

A warm and welcoming family run restaurant. Wonderful use of flavours in the cooking. An interesting wine list. But most importantly a wonderful welcome and charming service. Highly recommended.

We went on Wednesday 17th January - 2 days after blue Monday. The restaurant was very quiet as everyone was at home licking their wounds, had spent all their money over Christmas. We were one of two couples in the restaurant, but the atmosphere was...warm and cosy and the owner was very friendly and chatty. We chose a white beaujolais to drink - I've never tried it before and it was lovely. The restaurant has a limited menu which is changed regularly. I think this is a great strategy - it means that the kitchen can focus their efforts on doing not many things really well. Also, the onus is on the customer to trust the chef, go with them on dishes they might not pick out of a larger menu. All of the food was superb (a big mention for the dame blanche dessert). Slightly pricey at €140, but given the quality, really good value.More
