Ginnette Bar has a wide selection of beers and a great food menu to accompany that pint. We started with the cheese croquettes with Ginnette White and citrus beer, followed by the Jim’s Spicy Bacon & Cheese and Truffle burgers for the main course. Filling!

Ordered a Truffle burger. The menu says it comes with cheddar “, truffle mayo and potato chips. It came with neither. Told the waitress. She just shrugged her shoulders and said “d’accord”. Unimpressed.

After a good welcome, a swift ordering process things seemed to break down. The beer and the food were a good standard and mostly organic - a bonus. However, part of my order was missed and the second beer - made necessary because of the long wait for good - never arrived.
Excellent position near the European Parliament but lack of staff seems to be an issue.

We went one Saturday night a couple of weeks ago. I was afraid, seeing the 'bar' title, that the kitchen was not the best. Instead, we ate really well and left satisfied. And the service is very attentive with very courteous staff. Thank you!

Great burger and drinks! Lovely atmosphere and great for long talks with colleagues!The portions are gigantic! So although I ordered extra fries there really is no need!

I had such a delicious, fun dinner at Ginette Bar. The staff were helpful and kind, drinks and food were tasty and well priced. Overall an excellent experience, would highly recommend!!!

The Corentin was a very nice waiter. I think I have never met a nicer one.
He made a free degustaion of beer and was very nice and overall very pleasent.

Great bar great atomosphere and lovely bartenders a special thank you to David who went above and beyond to provide a great service to me and my Irish friends! Very impressed by the service that he provided on such a busy night.

Great place for a beer with friends or a quick lunch.
The price is above average in the area but it's what you pay when you are eating and drinking bio.

As a local, I tend to have reservations about the bars on Place du Luxembourg. They cater to the European Institutions crowd, which usually means average, overpriced drinks compared to other parts of Brussels (no garnish in the gin and tonic, a really poor mojito). This is exactly what we got, but that's not really the problem (because we were expecting that). What disappointed us was the poor bar service and the long wait time. Every bar in Place du Luxembourg gets busy on Thursdays - this shouldn't be a surprise. Why there were only 2 bar staff trying to serve everyone is beyond me. There could have been 4 and it would have still been a profitable evening for the owners. Add to that a very uninspiring music selection (David Guetta, Macklemore, Britney Spears,...) - it may please a certain crowd but it wasn't for us. A mainstream bar which doesn't stand out in any way. Disappointing.

My wife, her cousin and I didn’t want to eat at the hotel restaurant in which we were staying. So we walked around a short distance from the hotel to see what we could find for a quick lunch. We walked into this Bar that offered a nice menu selection. We ordered their beer and a couple starters. Excellent! I really enjoyed the soup of the day. We then ordered our meals. My wife order their “no bread burger “ and really enjoyed it as did my wife’s cousin in the meal she ordered. I had the sausage and mash and very much enjoyed the meal. I wish I walked into this establishment yesterday when we first arrived. Unfortunately, we are departing tomorrow and can’t return during this trip but I will remember for our next visit to Brussels.

Don’t go here if your looking for a meal to fill you up. Payed 16 Euro for one small tortilla fajita, and my girlfriend had a chicken with bits of pink inside.

Dear William,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry you didn't enjoy your meal - the fajitas is normally very generous and you can ask for as many flour tortillas as you like. As for your girlfriend's chicken we use organic chicken thighs - which are always a little pink - but perfectly cooked I can assure you. This is the juiciest and tastiest part of the chicken!
Give us another go, and ask for me when you come.
