We had a very good dinner where the owner takes care of his clients. Food was very good prepared with passion and creativity. Every single plate we took was marvellous and the wine paring was excellent. Bravo !

One of the best deals in Brussels. Always excellent for a reasonable price. Only five starters and five main courses on offer but all excellent and super fresh. Top notch.
The meal was excellent as was described by others. However we will not go back for the following reasons: Interior is very crowded, noisy, tables are too small, no real comfort offered. You cannot place your handbag etc next to you, dishes are cramped on...table, the surrounding noise is unbearable. The toilets are a disgrace. One WC for both women and men. Not at all clean or looked after. Empty boxes piled in a corner. Wall paint is flaking off ... For the prices asked which are high we felt cheated. You don’t go to a restaurant only for the food. The whole environment counts. Need to make many changes to keep up the name.More
This restaurant is a good example of proper Belgium food. The waiter suggested some excellent wines for my wife and I, which made this a great evening all together.
As we could not find a place at Old Boy on the other corner of the road, we gave this a try. Welcome is nice in a very noisy restaurant. Tables are rather too close to each other. Choice of menu is limited (no poultry,...no veal or porc) and prices are high. Even starters are expensive. Quality is excellent, worthy of a classy restaurant but the ambiance is more of a brasserie with a lot of noise. You eat and discuss with your neighbours.More
We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Le Fruit Défendu. From the moment we arrived the wait staff couldn’t have been more helpful - and provided fantastic recommendations on both food & wine. The food offering is perfect, from meat, seafood & vegetarian options, and not...excluding a great selection of homemade desserts. The food was delicious, cooked and presented beautifully. We had a wonderful meal and would definitely recommend to any foodies living in or visiting Brussels to visit Le Fruit Défendu.More
We had a nice evening at this popular restaurant in trendy Chatelain. The service was friendly and correct and although the menu is limited it has enough choice for everyone to find a dish for their liking. Food was good but the entrecote, which two...of us had, lacked in taste. Desserts were delicious and especially the crumble. Price level is what to expect from a restaurant in this area.More
Where there for a business lunch but it would be perfect for couples and "gourmets". Hard to find a better place. The dishes are fantastic and you'll be advised on the best wine to accompany them. Really professional service providing the best experience for the...price. Not cheap but definitely worth of it.More
A lovely Belgian restaurant with a great owner. We eat goose liver as starter and then I ate an Eal with a mixture of herbs. Ambiance was amazing service was great and informative
This is a great little place with really lovely decoration, so cosy in the evenings. The staff have great timing, are attentive without being oversolicitous and the food is really good. Helpings could be a little more generous as it's not cheap, hence four stars...only.More
Near Place Brugmann, a cosy, very prettily decorated ( with lots of candles ) and most agreable small restaurant. Here the noise level is LOW ( comparend to most of the closest restaurants) and the atmosphere particularly agreable.
Used to be my favorite place in town. Went back after 2 years away from Belgium and got very disappointed by the food. Its uniqueness, attention to details and surprises at every bite has gone. Maybe it is because the founder and her partner are...not there anymore. It is very cosy and the service is really kind, but the high prices are no longer justified.More
We first went there a few years ago when it was under different management whom I think have since retired. Still remains a very pleasant restaurant serving good food and wine. Pretty busy midweek when we visited and we ate and drank well. Had run...out of the beef carpaccio but offered me a duck dish instead. It was a bit strong tasting but served with good orange and ginger sauce. Will certainly put restaurant on our list for our next visit to Brussels. Very pleasant staff.More
Visited here recently with friends and family. The service was attentive and the food was very good, if a little expensive. We had a selection of starters and main courses from a menu which changes constantly. The mains included lamb, steak and fish and all...were well presented although the vegetables with my lamb could have been a little warmer. Nice wine list also.More
Although both the menu and restaurant are small, it delivers big flavours. The small selection of 6 main courses all sounded delicious and the two we had (beef and sea bass) were both delicious. The service was excellent. Would highly recommend.
