A brilliant pub that is more of a restaurant with lovely food and lovely locally brewed ale. Very happy place to be, whether it be family or adults.

Excellent food and lovely venue - its aged quality makes it a place to visit - there is a courtyard garden but the restaurant is very popular so either book or arrive early

This pub has a friendly atmosphere with prompt service. My partner and I both ate excellent spicy fish soup, and followed it with goat's cheese and pepper tart [me] and goat's cheese and pepper risotto . Both dishes were delicious. Roasted peaches and lemon icecream rounded off a fabulous meal

I was not expecting great things but I have to admit to not enjoying my meal at this pub at all. The beef in my hot sandwich was overcooked, tasteless and tough and it was actually a toastie which left my mouth sore. If you are selling a toasted sandwich for £7 then be honest. A hot sandwich is made... More

Met several friends at The Station for dinner. Very very busy on a Friday 'Pizza' night. Several items sold out but Had goats cheese quiche and salad... Delicious! Been several times and enjoyed every visit. Highly recommend .

The belly pork at The Station is nothing short of amazing, the fat has been fully rendered and when it states it is slow cooked they are absolutely telling the truth. I have cravings for it, it is that good. I always ask for bread to mop up the remaining gravy after I have finished my food, which is completely... More

We arrived and the staff were more interested in fixing the fridge and getting water bowls for dogs than serving customers and they didn't wash their hands after providing the dogs bowls. The food ,,I had the open beef sandwich ...pretty much uninteresting. Was told it was loaded with horse radish, could not really spot the horse radish....and my partner... More

Stopped by to enjoy the beer garden with my book in hand. Lovely pub with good atmosphere and decent selection of beers. The food looked amazing and the fresh pizza oven churns them out on certain days! A wonder place!

The last three times here for lunch or pub supper I have left disappointed - in fact the last time the staff left before us! The menu lacks its yesteryear interesting choice and when served pretty ordinary or average. Not bad but not great- as it used to be which is a shame as always had a great meal -... More
