My wife and I dined here at least 10 times and this was my choice for my turning point birthday. Monsieur Gardillou's cuisine has lots of character and combines intelligence and flavor. Shirley Gardillou is the most gracious and beautiful hostess and Fabien Brughera is one of the best sommeliers in a nation rightly proud of this honorable profession. Make... More

Myself and my girlfriend just ate in the Moulin du Roc restaurant. We are guests in the hotel. I've never felt the urge to post a review so soon after eating but this place deserves it. From start to fish this was dining at its very best. The service was professional, attentive and friendly. You are made feel welcome and... More

By coincidence we arrived in this hotel / restaurant with a last minute booking because we needed a place to sleep and we expected just a normal hotel dinner ( we didn't know about the Michelin quality served) What is surprise we got that night !! We chooses the menu Degustation for a little extra (because we where hotel guests).... More

Was recently afforded the amazing opportunity to experiance Le Moulin du Roc. From the walk up to the front door, to the warm and gracious welcome and seating I knew I was in for something very special. If your French is not quite up to par for ordering, worry not, as perfect English is also spoken by the staff. Was... More

The setting is breathtaking, the welcome is warm, the service is exemplary, and the food is an unforgettable journey of discovery - both for the eyes and the palate. In addition to the well-deserved Michelin star, I think the Chef deserves credit for bridging the gap between exquisite food and affordability in offering a Spring Menu with an excellent quality... The location already is perfect, but entering the old mill, you feel right at home. The staff is friendly but not pushy, the food is not to be compared with anything. The taste, the preparation and the art on your plate do confirm you are in oe of the most unique restaurants in the region.

Michelin 1 star. Enough said. It didn't disappoint. Had the 20th anniversary tasting menu and it was lovely.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days this August and realising the restaurant had a Michelin star, decided to go for the half-board option. The restaurant itself is in a delightful riverside setting and particularly well decorated. The food was superb, varied and mostly came form the local area. Knowing that we had taken the half-board option, we were... More
