We loved our lunch at this delightful family run restaurant, quite close to Castell'Arquato. Our guide Alice had chosen this traditional ristorante for us and I can see why! The food was delicious - a starter of zucchini mousse/white truffles, the main was a succulent guinea fowl which had been slow baked (wrapped in paper and then covered in a... More

This culinary gem is located near the medieval village of Castell'Arquato. A picture is worth a thousand words so here is the pasta duo that was graciously served to me when I couldn't decide which to choose. As you can see the pasta is practically transparent...what else can one say? How about...enjoy your wonderful meal at Da Faccini?!

I had the good fortune to visit Da Faccini Restaurant today, and it was a wonderful surprise. It was described by my friend as a dime restaurant, serving good, home style food. Instead, it was a wonderful and warm family owned restaurant, serving amazingly beautiful and delicious Italian food. Not only was the service provided by Alessandro and his family... More

This is my sixth year visiting in Italy. I have eaten great food but this food is my all time favorite. The presentation, atmosphere, pairing with wine was perfect. Try their pasta ' candies'. Primo piatto. Not dolce! Simply fabulous. I will return to this area just to eat here!! Thanks for a fabulous meal!

My wife and I who have a holiday home close by were in the area for a family wedding and the night before we decided to go for dinner in Castell Arquato. Unfortunately we could get a table any where so we decided to have a drive and literally spotted Da Faccini as we drove past and decided to give... More

Da Faccini is on the road from Castell'Arquarto towards Piacenza in the small village of San Antonio. We had dinner there three times during a recent holiday simply because the food is so good. We sat outside even on hot evenings to enjoy the local dishes. One of the owning family gave us recommendations for courses to try, all of... More

We stopped here for lunch on a Friday. Da Faccini has plenty of parking and is easy to find. The restaurant itself is warm and inviting and has a rustic style. We ate well. I had the Tagliata which was cooked to perfection - probably the best I've ever had. Whilst service was good, the young waiter had a slightly... More

Go to this region a lot and have been to this restaurant several times. The restaurant is a step above the usual trattorie of the area and its quality is more refined but obviously you pay more for this understandably. Try their charcuterie which is of very good quality and their caramelle (ricotta and spinach pasta) in sage and butter... More

Relaxed trattoria style family owned restaurant with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Extremely good food typical of Emilia Romagna region and great value. Allessandro and his mum were great fun too. Definitely recommend if you're visiting this area!

We have eaten at da Faccini many times over the past 10 years - and will continue to do so. It's been open many years, is family-run, and is always full - mostly with people from the local area, though some regular customers come from as far away as Piacenza. The cuisine is that of Emilia and excels in cured... More
