We had a wonderful lunch after hiking. I would have preferred to eat on the balcony but it was too cold. Great service, plenty of comfort-food to choose from and a bright, happy atmosphere.

Very friendly host (owner?) with a personal touch. We slept in the rooms they have upstairs and had an excellent night sleep. The food was very good and in good portions and the staff very very friendly

We ate lunch here and chose it based on the view from the deck-it was amazing. I had the spaghetti with tomato sauce and it was decent. My husband had fondue and it was "ok" but enough fondue for a long time. Service was okay. The Coke Light was an off brand and do not recommend it.

Ski trip in early January and this place became our main mountain refuge: in the mornings we would have a hot chocolate to warm up; at lunchtimes it gets busy on the self service side- the service is on the brusque side. On the restaurant side, it is much quieter- we did one tablecloth lunch; the service was good, our... More

Absolutely stunning view. A blend of the snow mountains and the greens. I spent over an hour here just admiring the view. The restaurant serves good food and the food is reasonably priced. Highly recommend a stopover when travelling to Jungfrau.

Go for a beer or some food at best view in town whether you are skiing, hiking or just as a tourist.

We went here twice during our recent skiing week in Wengen. The food is not bad for a Swiss mountain restaurant, including tasty salads, which is a far from universal commodity in these parts. The cost, however, while not the highest of the local eateries, was still hugely disproportionate to the quality (salad plus water about SFr 20.-), and the... More

Nice and friendly staff. We found this place because of it was the only place in the mountain to serve gluten free food.

I had the goulash soup in a bread bowl here and it was delicious.I think for part of the novelty it's worth it but also it was very large and warming after being out in the cold.

The restaurant is either waiter or self service - you can choose by table. The food is fairly standard choices of mountain 'fuel' but you can have salads! However they do a mean Apple Strudel..l'm sure we had it three times in a week!
