After a weeks holiday in nearby Coombe Martin we chose Ye Olde Globe for our final meal of the holiday...and we were not disappointed! It was fantastic. As a party of 4 adults and 2 small children, all ordering different things, we did have a...More

The food and service was very poor. Not a nice experience and so different from when we visited 5 months ago. I certainly didn't appreciate having to argue with the owner about the quality of the food.

Sorry to say that this week we have eaten at The Globe twice and both times the food was very disappointing. We were so looking forward to the "fish in home made beer batter with home made tartar sauce" but the fish was overcooked to...More

Very nice food - bit expensive but worth it. Service was very slow! Although we were dining early and it wasn't too busy the waiters walked passed us a few times without checking if we needed any more drinks etc. Really pretty pub inside!

After exploring the small village of Berrynarbor we went into this pub for a pint. The inside is very traditional looking but it's done well! The beer garden was full of flowers and life, and really lovely place to sit in the sun with a...More

My husband, young son and I decided to try here while we holidayed in the village. First impressions when we walked in was how lovely it was, original features, very old fashioned and cosy. Uneven stone floors and ceiling beams. We hoped there was a...More

We visited this pub several times when staying nearby recently and loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great and very reasonably priced. Dogs are allowed in some parts of both the bar and restaurant and kids were made most...More
