What a taste sensation

I had often heard people very positive about this restaurant but unfortunately had not been there myself until this week. We were taken to our table opposite the sushi bar by the cheerful lady who kindly welcomed us. There was a very friendly and cozy atmosphere in the restaurant. We chose to be surprised with the tasting experience supplemented with a few extra appetizers we could share, such as the Crispy Squid and the Tuna Tartare. Each dish was surprising, and many of the dishes received additional supplements at the table before being served. The pace and pauses between plates were perfect. Everyone in the service was extremely friendly and service-oriented. Having been there myself, I can say nothing but that I, too, have a very positive feeling about the restaurant and that the dishes are indeed creative and very flavorful.

Good fun!

Red Sun was always our regular goto place. Since corona we forgot to visit so it has been a few years since. It was a great evening out for the whole family. Staff super nice, sushi the best and a bit of show with the main courses. So thanks guys we enjoyed it!

A most go whilst visiting The Netherlands

Wonderful dinner with the 7 course surprise menu

The reception was great, got a seat and waited for my business appointment to arrive. During the wait, about 30 minutes I was taken excellent care of with drinks and a little snack. We decided on the surprise menu because it takes out the anxiety of choosing for the (Dutch) menu. We were in for a treat, beautiful dishes with an explosion of tastes times 7. I cannot begin to describe what exquisite dishes we had but just a try: sashimi, sushi, chicken, wuka beef, squit just to name some. The service was quick and attentive, just as you would like it. Please try, not cheap, but a real treat.

Always a delight to eat in the red sun. Very high quality food and very friendly service. If there is anything negative, it is that it is quite expensive

This restaurant is absolutely on my list of Restaurants to visit again soon. The food is absolutely wonderfull both in flavor as in design. The downside to our visit was that we had a table at the front next to the bar, where other guests where waiting and not really taking others into consideration. So when reserving I would advice to ask for a table in the back or at the sushi bar. If it hadn’t been for this part of the dining experience I would for sure have given a 5 star rating rather then the 4 stars now presented.

This was our first visit to The Red Sun and will now be a favourite. Staff here are welcoming and highly efficient. Menu's are varied and exciting, presentation of the dishes can only be described as artwork but most important the quality and flavours of the ingredients are excellent. We don't eat meat and have allergies to various foods but this is no problem as staff are trained to cater to everyone's personal wishes. Wonderful evening, can't wait to return.

Fabulous Food and Friendly Service.

We ate here with Dutch friends who are regulars and know the menu which is probably an advantage. The salmon cooked on the hot stone was superb the sushi sensational and the wine accompanying excellent. We finished off with a naughty desert. The service was warm and friendly and the ambience in the restaurant great. We will definitely return.

Better then before, but choose wisely

Famous for its dark, mysterious, eastern atmosphere. That is gone in the new new Sun. It is more crowded, more tables, but with an open kitchen and a very accessible bar. The menu needs getting used to, but all time favourites are still there. New is the Han Siem chicken. A must must. If in doubt however, 16-24 spicy tuna rolls always do the trick.

Food is great but I still feel that value for money isn't aligned. The quality is great and the new interior is great as well. Owner are polite but feels like they are friendly because they will rip you in the end. I've had dinner for 2 people and I've spent far over Euro 300,- For that money I'll pass on this restaurant a go to a proper Michelin restaurant where I get even better food

An amazing dining experience worthy of future Michelin acclaim. Stylishly refurbished, this re-polished gem in Blaricum delivered a magnificent dining experience. Superb table service, with just the right amount of friendly familiarity, encouraged us to try the chef's special menu. What a delight. The creative team produced an exquisite array of dishes, exciting us with combinations of taste and texture, colour and presentation. A new chef, new interior, new style. Prioritise this restaurant on your 'to do' list and visit soon. You will not be disappointed.

"Return visit"

We dined here last year with friends & had a fantastic evening so expectations were high! The restaurant has had a complete facelift since our last visit & looks amazing. The food was outstanding as was the service. Apart from the bill being noticeably higher per head (there were eight of us) than our last visit we had no complaints & will definitely be returning on our next visit to the Netherlands.
