This is worth the drive, worth the time, worth the service and the food and wine masterfully prepared and served by chef and staff. There is nothing more to say than if you want real Italy, try to make reservations for their Sunday dinner ....magnificent.

For meat lovers this is a must-stop restaurant. Packed when we went, so booking seems essential. The owners offer a number of mouth-watering roasts, stews, and amazing piedmonte antipasta. We were brought as guests by locals. It did not disappoint :-)

We stayed in a villa in San Marzano, and our Italian guide, Olivia, recommended Bardon as a close-by place to eat. 10 of us decamped there our first night, and the staff couldn't have been more generous or accommodating. Gino chose wonderful wines for us,...More

This popular restaurant deserves its recommendations. It is very much a family atmosphere venue, from owners, to staff, to customers and every need is catered for. My tagliolini, porcini mushrooms, veal and pork ribs were tasty - though my rabbit, whilst generous, was very dry....More

Went there with two people (6 adults, 4 kids) for lunch. Sat at the very pleasant outdoor table that had a nice little breeze. Food from start to finish was excellent, with a selection of cured meats, delicious starters, a heavy portion of primi pasta,...More
