Gee Wiz. This was the highlight of our holiday. Recommended to us by Barossa Taxis. Beautiful location, food presented superbly, just brilliant ! If you visit the barossa, Appellations at The Louise is a 'must do'.

The wine bar patio of this restaurant looks over Aussie beauty at its finest! The food we had was sensational, though the bill was a bit on the high side for dropping in for 'bar snacks' and a couple of glasses of wine. Treat yourself and go anyway - it's definitely worth it just for the view!

We were so looking forward to a sublime dinner experience but it was not to be. The evening started with a stunning location for glass of wine overlooking the vines and early sunset - one glass of Fiano (very good) and one glass of the Three Blend White (cloudy in the glass and very strange flavour). Upon enquiry we were... More

We had the "Locals Evening" dinner (Tuesday nights) and had a superb evening. We started with drinks on the terrace, overlooking the vineyard. Lovely view. We were a group of 4 and each couple was each given a different starter, main and dessert, which was a perfect aid to sharing. The food was creative and excellent quality. The service was,... More

Amazing venue, from the entry to the outdoor area overlooking the vines and incredible sunset this place is a class act. Impeccable service, was here on a Tuesday which is locals night and set three course meal. Very impressed and would highly recommend.

My family has enjoyed a creative dinner here which was beautifully presented and served with dose of friendliness from its waiters. The background is a wide view of vineyards lie a sea of green. The only snag is that services was slow taking a who;e three hours!

We had dinner on Saturday night and it was fabulous. The degustation menu with selected wines was an excellent choice. The food texture and taste certainly lived up to the restaurants reputation and the selection of local wines really complemented the dishes. A pricey restaurant but well worth a visit if you are staying in the area to enjoy finely... More

Appellation lived up to its reputation. I have to specifically mention the pork belly. The delicacy of the meat, the texture of the crackle combined with the other little surprises on the plate were sublime. All the dishes were delectable and the selection of wine for each dish really good and sometimes a great new discovery.

Incredible 4 course menu in South Australia version of US Napa Sonoma region. The meal was beyond perfect, duck pate, scallops, red snapper, beef and deserts. A bit pricey but worth every penny. Service was exceptional as well.

Went to Appellation on locals night which is great value and a little experimental with some of the dishes This is a great way to experience a top notch restaurant at local prices, which many of them also enjoy
