Would not visit again. The chefs asked us whether we were finished and ready for our bill TWICE when we were still half way through our dessert and beer (so that they could make space for their regular local customers). We spent less than 45...More

This small but very attractive restaurant offers the best sushi we had in Japan. The atmosphere is very nice and the people are great. Shirahama is a nice beach place to visit during our very intense trip to Japan. It is relaxing and the food...More

This place was a lot more upmarket than I was expecting. Really nice layout and we were presented by a hostess in a kimono. English wasn't great but I can recommend the set menu. 5700 yen is quite pricey but I would say it's worth...More

We ordered the sushi-kaiseki. The sushi was fabulously fresh and delicately presented. The chawanmushi with the Yuzu essence was soft and flavourful. The deep fried little shrimp was light and crisp. The staff were polite, attentive and friendly. It's a must-visit and will-revisit!

Yes, according to the website they are open for lunch. I would recommend a reservation as it isn't a huge restaurant, but I didn't have one myself last I visited.
