We’ve eaten here several times now throughout the year. Dependably great tasting ramen & gyoza at this local favorite restaurant. Limited seating, not good for large groups. Only 2 tables for seating 4, otherwise, there are seats along the counter. Efficient, pleasant wait staff &...service.More

Delicious Ramen. Super accomodating staff. Limiting seating, not suitable for large groups. Reasonably priced.

This is a small restaurant and so has some strict rules on time spent and what they can do during busy hours. But WORTH every bit of it as the food is amazing. Each bite is flavourful and each item on the small menu holds...its own. Must visit while you are in HakubaMore

If you're in Hakuba, it's worth a trip down to Tottsuan for a bowl of Ramen. Certainly 5 stars for me. We tried the gyoza and chicken karaage too. It's very good.

Delicious ramen, gyoza and fried rice. The the staff speak moderate English but were extremely helpful. There is an English menu available. Highly recommended!

Went here in mid-April -- not long of a wait during this time of season. They have an English menu which is basically the same as the Japanese menu. Evaluation of Ramen (I ordered Miso, bf ordered spicy miso): Broth: Very rich and flavorful, I...finished the whole thing Soft-boiled egg: Marinated very well. My egg was sliiightly more than soft-boiled, but my bf's egg was cooked perfectly Chashu: Not too fatty, and very flavorful Noodles: Chewy, good bite to them Gyoza: 6 pcs of pretty small, but I found them the perfect size since we were eating a big 'ol bowl of ramen anyway. Not too overfried, which I actually like, and meat was juicy and flavorful.More

People say 'best... in....' on here all the time. But, I've actually had ALL the ramen in Hakuba. And this is head and shoulders above everyone else. Perfectly cooked egg with runny yolk, well-developed broth, flavourful char siu with a good char, perfectly paired noodles...for the type of soup. Good service. Great price.More

Ramen was great but experience was totally ruined by staff behaviour. It was snowing and difficult to find a taxi, finally found one which said 20-30 mins. We had been calling a taxi even before finishing the meal , which included drinks and sake and...side dishes etc besides mains for everyone, so a fairly full meal and more. The staff however felt it necessary to ask a family with kids to leave and wait outside even though it was snowing, and there were no waiting guests outside. Very poor form and even though it’s a basic ramen place one expects some simple humanity.More
