We stopped by on our way through Reydarfjourdur- a great find. The cafe was clean and well appointed . The sandwiches were lovely and the cakes delightful. It’s a shame we can’t visit again whilst we are in Iceland. Definitely, a great find

Fabulous selection of cakes and pastries and the bread looked wonderful. Great place for a coffee and cake stop any time of the day!

Very expensive, but nice atmosphere. Peronnel was nice, but food was okey (not great). The room was quite light which made the room cozy and there was nice music…

Excellent Bakery in the East Fjords

Stopped for breakfast and found a wide selection of breads, sandwiches, seats, and coffee drinks. All very fresh. Service was fast and efficient. Just what a bakery should be.

Lovely little backery

After eating Skyr for a few days, we found this lovely backery in Reydarfjordur. There was lots of choice of the sweetest things to eat and also some nice sandwiches. The lady behind the counter was very nice. She explained all the pastrys to us and showed us typical Icelandic food. Very nice. We definitely recommend stopping by for some nice breakfast or lunch!

Great coffee and breakfast!

Great stop for breakfast while traveling Ring Road. We happened to stop for gas and Sesam was recommended to us. Best coffee we have had in Iceland!

Great breakfast for a good price

We had breakfast at Sesam while road tripping through Iceland. We can say this was the best breakfast place visited in the country. Great tasting sandwiches, coffee and sweet treats.

Quick stop at local bakery

Small Bakery/Café with typical islandic baked goods and sandwiches. Sandwiches tasted great, staff was was very friendly and the seating area very clean. We enjoyed our quick break and can only recommend to stop by.

Good value hot meal for the lunchtime crowd.

Sesam is always busy at lunch. They offer a daily hot meal from 11:45 - meat, potato, salad etc but sometimes pizza slices - priced between 1300 and 1700 ISK which attracts lots of locals. As it's a bakery there are baguettes, cakes & pastries to buy as well. This is a good value pit stop if you are driving on Road #1.
