Revisited Boccadoro after ten years, and extremely happy to see that its owner/chef Paolo and his team are not only maintaining standards, but have added another level of excellence altogether We had several starters, pasta dishes, several main courses - and desserts. Every single dish that arrived became a conversation piece. It's kind of rare to see such consistency, creativity and service over such a long period of time - and all at sane prices. Highly recommended !

We are collectors of the Piatti del Buon Ricordo and came here for lunch. The featured dish was “drunken chicken” served with tagliatelle in a crispy parmiggiano nest. Delicious! We also had the artichoke tart and bacala. Dessert was a heavenly apple tart. It was a trully wonderful meal and service was excellent!

Amazing food, prepared from scratch with local ingredients, showcasing the best of Venetian food. The service was excellent, and it looked like we were the only tourist dinning. Reservations are recomended.

The hotel recommended Boccadoro to us and I must say that the food was excellent. However, this restaurant is for locals and you will get limited service especially on a Saturday night. This place should be five star except for the fact that we were ignored by the senior staff. Don't let that stop you coming as you will be served by their new 16 year old waiter who is keen to serve. A very charming young man, but can't help feeling that tourism or tourist guests are not important here. Manuel has a good future!

Lovely Restaurant, not turistic at all. Excellent quality of food. Classy and elegant atmosphere and superb the service!High quality cousine.... We ordered a lovely succulent piglet, tender and really tasty; veal fillet cooked at the perfection; delicious pear cheese and speck salad. I strongly recommend to try this quite characteristic restaurant....outside of the busy centre of Padova!

Unfortunately I found out about this restaurant my last evening in Padova. I would have probably eaten here every night if only I had known about it. It's a pretty traditional setting and heavily frequented by locals. Ingredients are top quality and execution is highly skilled. Enjoyed dishes featuring seasonal mushrooms and fresh seafood. Every dish was perfectly cooked. Any accompanying sauces were intensely flavorful and perfectly suited. My dessert of sfogliatelle with custard and berries was an impressive finish. Wow. If you're in the mood for a wonderful dinner, and you're anywhere near this restaurant, plan a visit. I'll absolutely be back the next time I'm in the area.

Really enjoyed this one. Our service was impeccable and not overbearing. They had a good selection of wines and knowledgeable staff to help select one. Mostly traditional fare and prepared well. Pastas were out of this world.

First of lets say that the decor of the restaurant did not appeal to me. I thought the food would be cafeteria style and was expecting something very different than what i got. I had to taste difernt plates this where the best plates in order of great to excellent 1. Octopus - primer platy 2. Brenzino ( not sure if spelled correctly) 3. Risotto mushroom and vegetables 4. Past with huge clam ( don't know exactly what to call it) All four plate amazing. Great desert chocolate platter five different styles of chocolate in small sizes. Great food, absolutely magnificent service. Which as we know in italy is a disaster in most places.

Since we went there the first time many months ago we always ate well. We have returned many times. The decoration is classic, comfortable well illuminated, the service is very good and friendly, there is a significant variety of plates (quite unusual in the region), well presented and always with an exquisite taste. The wine list has many alternatives. Last but not least there is parking. I recommend it to my friends.

For business I visit Vicenza few times a year. We usually stay at a hotel in Padua. For dinner, Boccadoro in Padua is one of our favourites. The waiters, all sophisticated gentlemen with approns, are very kind.Located in a more residential area, but always packed. Food is really good.we were offered a small starter on the house. Menu available in English. Bill came to € 75,00 for 2 persons. Just one remark, we both asked for tea after dinner, we got 1 small teacan with hot water with 2 small cups. The tea can was more likely to serve 1 instead of 2 persons. We will definitely visit the restaurant many more times.

I recently had dinner at Ristorante Boccadoro with a colleague while in Padova on business. We were warmly welcomed and accompanied to a corner table. I was impressed with the decor of the locale as we made our way through the dining rooms. Tables were beautifully set with fabric tablecloths and napkins. Good quality service ware (dishes, glassware and utensils) topped the tables, along with fresh flowers and a breadbasket of artisan breads and grissini (bread sticks). An enclosed window looked into the kitchen's open fire pit and the chef manning the grills. The menu featured primarily Veneto cuisine and had a balanced selection of both meat and seafood antipasti, primi (pasta course) and entrees. Our waiter explained some the seasonal specials that were not on the menu. Ristorante Boccadoro periodically changes their menu to include items that are in season. This was mushroom season, so many of their dishes featured mushrooms. I started my meal with an antipasto of boiled and roasted octopus served with potatoes, snow peas, candied lemon and drizzled with a balsamic reduction. While the octopus was fresh, I personally didn't care for this combination of flavors and textures. I followed this with a main dish of Pan-fried Monkfish served with zucchini, zucchini flowers and finferli mushroom. This was nicely plated and very tasty. Prices were reasonable and the service was attentive and professional. I think Ristorante Boccadoro is an ideal location for celebrating special occasion. I can recommend Boccadoro to the TripAdvisor community.
