This is Greek food at its best - a focus on local produce, with simple food to let the flavours shine. We ate here twice during our 5 days in Milos it was so good. The service was impeccable and the restaurant has a great location in the heart of Pollonia's restaurant strip. Everything we tried was excellent. The tomato salad we had I'm still dreaming about and these were definitely the best pitarakia we had during our time on the island. We also loved both octopus dishes we had - one grilled and one the stifado. Definitely try and save room for dessert and try the orange pie! We'll be back next time we're on the island!

Best restaurant in town

We stayed in Pollonia for two weeks in September/October 2021 and ate at Enalion six times. The food is excellent, the staff are charming and you get the feeling the atmosphere of a true Greek Taverna. All of the dishes we tried were superb, especially the fresh fish which was cooked and served perfectly, the lamb dish was beautiful and their house wine great value. Even late in the season the restaurant was very busy, so reservation is recommended.

Delicious home food cooked and served by Amazing people

We stayed in Milos 5 days and ended up eating in Enalion 3 times. All dishes are delicious (Literally) .We almost tried all the menu. For starters I strongly suggest the mussels and sea bass tartar. The main courses, Shrimps saganaki and choose your favourite fish to be prepared the Enalion way. The best accompany to that lovely meal is the Enalion house wine. It is a crowed pleaser, well balanced more on the dry and mineral side than sweet and fruity. (You can always ask to taste). We ended up buying 4 bottles to take home with us.The grand finale MUST be the orange pie. Apart from the delicious food, the staff are AMAZING. Georgia (manager) will make sure to make you feel at home. Elias (waiter) is VERY knowledgeable about all products (food and wine). Simply ask him and he will give you the answer. We are definitely returning

Our waiter could not recommend any starters for us to try and just asked us which one we would like for him to describe as if we couldn’t read the menu. After taking our order for drinks and a starter he forgot about us and never came back to take our main entree order. We had to flag down another waiter who then sent someone else and none of them came back to take further orders. We then asked for another drink and it never came. We eventually got up to go pay inside. This all occurred the night of June 13th. We chose this place for the good reviews on our last night of stay but wished we had not. Very disappointing especially since the food was not anywhere near the best that we have had in this town.

Excellent restaurant

Excellent early evening dinner - boiled vegetable salad was first rate and mains of stuffed squid, grilled squid and the sardines were all fresh with a particular mention for the sardines: best we had on Milos. Attentive, friendly service and well priced. Well worth visiting!

Excellent family run restaurant

In a beachfront setting in Pollonia, this is a truly excellent, family run restarant, with first class service and a wide choice of delicious dishes. We chose 'kakavia', which is a traditional fish stew, made to the recipe of great granny it seems. This took a little while to be prepared, as it's made with fresh fish that we were shown before they were taken away for cooking. The presentation of the dish was top class. The cooked fish had been removed from the stew and were served on a platte. There was a separate pot of broth, made from the stew. Our friendly waiter de-boned the fish and we helped ourselves, filling our bowls withdelicious broth and pieces of tasty fish. A bottle of the very drinkable house white wine matched the food. All in all, a very enjoyable dinner. Good value for money and good service.

Delicious dinners

We ate dinner here twice during our stay, getting the fresh catch of the day the first time and then the fish stew the second time. The fish was perfect and the small plates we tried were super delicious. The view is wonderful and when it's windy out, they enclose the area in plastic so you can enjoy dinner without the sand blowing everywhere. Loved their table wine! Some nights are busier than others, so recommend a reservation if you're worried and like to eat after 7:30/8. Highly recommend!

Best food in Pollonia!

We tried many of the restaurants in Pollonia and Enalion is the best! We ended up eating here for a large percentage of our lunch and dinners during our stay. Super fresh food coupled with super friendly staff. Simple dishes with super fresh ingredients coupled with great service for a good price what more do you want from a restaurant.

Great lunch!

We stopped here for lunch and it was excellent! We enjoyed great service and the grilled catch of the day fish was delicious. The digestive drink after the meal was something we didn’t get anywhere else during our time in Milos and we liked that extra touch of hospitality. One of our best meals in Milos, and the best we had in Pollonia!

Lucky us to bump into this place

We bumped into this restaurant by chance and was the best we could have done. High quality traditional Greek food. Was a pity the day before the weather was so dreadful there wasn’t any caught to try fresh local fish. The staff was so kind, took their time to explain in detail what u just ordered as everything we had was local food. Highly recommended! Thank you guys for the attention.

Go Greek with a twist

Located in the most prominent place in Pollonia. Staff and owners are always very inviting and friendly . All vegetables are from the owner's farm and salads and veggies are really amazing 👌 Known for its winelist but we had ouzo with our fish plates. Ask the staff for what is fresh and recommended.

Last minute reservation…

We were a last minute reservation for a no show reservation. The Greek salad, calamari and saganaki were excellent. Nice carafe of white wine - too full for desserts but we were given a small lemon custard to end the meal. Returning with one other person for a second dinner. Highly recommend.

veri nice position, social distancing very carefully ensured. we order some appetizers and two fish main course everting was delicious and beer ice cold as they should. staff super kind we will go back for sure.

Fantastic food in a beautiful location

Fantastic food in a beautiful setting right on the beach in Pollonia. The staff were lovely and very accommodating as we had our baby son with us. The food was excellent and really good value for money, I would recommend the fish ‘plaka’ which was delicious. Definitely a must when you visit Pollonia

Delicious food & excellent service

True we were accommodated in Appollion so we opted to dine in this town several evenings. Enalion was our favourite restaurant in town for both quality of food and service. Best to reserve a table. Would recommend marinaded raw prawns and sea urchin pasta with bottarga!
