Reinterpreted Romanian traditional food with excellent taste. Highly recomend the food and the waiters

Food was great, I really liked the "ciulama" and "papanași" - even if you only get 1 piece, while almost everywhere else you get 2 pieces. Prices are not cheap, but are not exaggerated either. The service was very good, the young lady who served...us was very attentive and good with our two daughters. The dishes are mostly traditional but with a personal touch, so they are not the same generic food you get almost everywhere else. So, fully recommended!More

I've been coming to Moieciu de Sus every year for the past five years to hike, but I have only discovered Vlahia Inn restaurant on this trip. The moment I sat down and looked around I knew this is no ordinary restaurant and that my...plan to lose weight is in jeopardy. I was right. This is an extraordinary establishment in every respect, and I've had more than my fair share of extraordinary places throughout my privileged life. The atmosphere elevates the traditional dishes, which are always cooked and presented to perfection, to a new height. The service is competent, the ingredients of the highest quality, the menu abundant and the feeling one has after a meal is one of pure joy and satisfaction. This restaurant places Moieciu de Sus on the to see list of every gourmand in the world and has made my experience in this town and my hikes through these gorgeous mountains unforgettable. I did not know it is possible to bring this level of culinary sophistication to such a small and isolated place. And to top it all, live music of very high quality entertains the clients in the evening and makes you not want to leave the restaurant but to move right into one of the rooms of the B&B and become a permanent resident. A Romanian idiom says that "man makes a place holy" ('Omul sfinteste locul'). The owners and staff of Vlahia Inn have done more than that, they have made this place into a sanctuary of high culture.More

Nice location surrounded by the mountains. Nice ambient, nice music and nice interior design. The service was not very good, even if there were just a few table occupied, we waited quite a lot to give our order and also to receive it. The food...was g oodexcept for papanasi, which were not well cooked. We let the waitress know about that and she acknowledge what we claimed and brought us another dessert instead, we did not order it, so we believed was from the house. The supplied dessert was awful, neither my wife or I could not eat it. In the end we saw that the papanasi was on our bill, not a very pleasant thing from the management/owner. This is not the path to take if you want to keep your customers. The place have everything to be a super nice place to eat in Moieciu de Sus, but management/owners have to know how to manage the waiters, the cook and the bill. I think I meat the owner and he was quite arrogant and not very responsive. He was the type of person that do not considers at all that customer satisfaction it is not his main priority. He considers that there will be always suckers to use his place. Shame!More

If you arrive in the Bran-Moieciu area, don't miss the Vlahia Inn restaurant..number 1 from my point of view and a very good QPR! Specialties based on local ingredients, menus depending on the season, and the atmosphere being a fairytale one, especially when it snows!...🤗🤩More

The dishes combine International cuisine with Traditional local food, resulting an original tasty menu for any tourist. The warm atmosphere and the nice personnel invite you for an authentic Romanian experience.

Great food (even if the soups are a bit small), beautiful location, not very fast the service...but the waiters ware nice.

Wonderful atmosphere, impeccable service, bean soup, insane blueberries, fine and creamy, fried trout in corn, small and sausages, eggplant salad with the taste of homemade, homemade cake and Vlahia draft beer all very good. A place for non-speakers, pets are allowed at the accommodation.

The best restaurant in Moieciu de Sus, I eat the best pasta and pizza traditional with traditional cheese - burduf. The waiters, we have lucky that in every evening was the same boy and he was very kind and funny 😄

Everything was amazing. The food, the drinks, the design, the service. Nothing that I can even think of to complain about this place. I am glad we found it and I recommend everyone to come here, at least once in their lifetime... Absolutely stunning.
