This pub is very popular with families and it does cater very well for all age groups. The lighter meals are very good and their good old fish and chips was very good. There is a lovely garden and there are items for the kids to play on. Will go again

Excellent evening meal, good friendly service. Good choice of locally brewed cask ales. Reasonable prices. Large garden area with tables and benches. Have visited several occasions and never disappointed.

We went to have dinner for my partners birthday with our three children (5,2,1). From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile and felt very welcomed. We took the menus outside so the children could play on the swings and tractor while we were deciding. The children especially enjoyed the tractor! It was a big... More

We have visited the Tally Ho a few times a year usually for family occasions for many years and previously the service has always been excellent, and the food just as good. This time whilst the food was good, the service has gone downhill. We were on one of a cluster of tables at the back of the main restaurant,... More

Food was good, service really slow and bad. I ordered olives for starter, only to find out after my partner had started on his starter they had none! Limited to seating / waitering area. No great care or effort from anyone, and dessert menu given but no one came back within 10-15 minutes to take an order so decided not... More

We enjoyed a delightful meal in a beautiful bucolic setting on their outside patio. My rump steak was delicious, but I believe the BBQ ribs were the best- only because those that ordered them did not offer any tastes around the table!

Called in on the off chance on a Wednesday early evening and got a table for two. Very good menu, lots of choices and great service. Especially enjoyed the Beer battered Haddock & chips & the warm Duck salad. Massive garden with lots of space for the kids to run around and lots of outdoor seating too. Apparently it gets... More
