I love the setting and atmosphere of this pub but unfortunately I found the food pretty average. I had the beef which was fairly pricey at about £18 and although it was a large portion it was pretty plain (supposed to have a sticky marinade...More

I had previously heard good things about the feathers, but sadly it failed to impress. The service was the biggest let down, on arrival for our reserved table of 8 we were not seated by anyone we we're merely pointed to our seat. We had...More

Went for Christmas dinner with the family. Busy and very noisey. Service is slow. When the food came after a long time waiting. I was very disappointed. Not worth the wait. Sorry I will not be going back.

The Feathers is a lovely old pub next to St Mary's church in Rickmansworth. Great for meeting friends for a drink and a nice meal. I have been struggling to rate my recent experience at The Feathers. I would have given it a 'Good', but...More

We came here recently with friends and the food was generally overpriced and poor. I left nearly half the plate which I don't think I've ever done in a restaurant before. Not to mention the service was poor, and confusing. We came back again as...More

Visited for the first time on Sunday. The food was excellent, really tasty and hit the spot! Staff were really friendly, however they were very busy and was hard to get their attention. Overall it seemed a nice little pub with some great food.

Description
The Feathers Public House and Kitchen is a big point of difference in a small community. The history of this building is a journey in itself, having been many loved homes and businesses throughout the five hundred years or so she's been standing. It is now a thriving old-world pub which prides itself on its atmosphere, fine wines and beers. Dining with us is a superb experience with food freshly prepared by our in-house chefs accompanied by full and friendly table service throughout.
