What a beautiful restaurant. Visited for the 1st time yesterday evening for my husbands birthday. Their customer service was amazing, attentive and food was so tasty and very well presented. Cocktails are amazing and my husband was so greatful for the complimentary cake and beer! Will 100% be back for more visits with family and friends. Keep up the amazing service.

Around 5 years ago we had a take away from this restaurant, which was very good but decided we would like to visit.
It's around 7 miles from where we live and though we have 3 or 4 Indian eateries in our small town decided to get in the car and try something new.
We were not disappointed.
It was a Sunday evening around 7 and we had phoned an hour before hand to check they had a table. It is a small restaurant (seating around 40) and was half full but with a pleasant atmosphere.
We were greeted by a smiling gentleman and immediately noticed that all waiters were dressed in a national costume which impressed us and added to the atmosphere. Only later did we notice that in all advertising photos they were wearing national costumes
Shown to our table and drinks were quick to arrive. I always try something different and though they had the "traditional dishes" tried a speciality. Started with the usual poppadums' and were asked were we ready for our main dish?
The dining plates were very warm which you don't always get in larger places.
Our food arrived and was very nicely presented on special plates.
It was served hot (temp wise!!) and extremely moorish. Main dish and rice were more than ample and my dear wife couldn't manage all hers.
One impressive thing was when she finished her glass of wine we saw some small lees in the bottom of her glass. Though we never complained the waiter saw this and immediately brought a fresh glass of wine.
Friendly staff and delicious food made for a very enjoyable evening. The waiter bid us farewell and remarked not to leave it for 5 years again. I will not I assured him!!
The staff were extremely helpful and polite nothing was too much for them. I am in no way connected to this restaurant but found it to be of a very good standard.

The Lamb Chops at Desi Indian Dining Club are some of the best I've ever had. They were perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. I also tried their Indian Bread, which was warm and delicious, and their Chicken Tikka Masala, which was creamy and flavorful. The Tandoori King Prawn S was also a standout – the prawns were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Great food and service.

So we arrived and the staff was very friendly and lovely and drinks started flowing and starters etc and we was all enjoying ourself then the karaoke came out and we enjoyed that was well, dinner came out and that was really nice. I’m sitting next to my mum and she said there’s a bone in my dinner and as she has pulled out something from her mouth there was 5 staple guns she told the waiter he didn’t say anything and took it away and made a joke out of it.
This is not a funny situation to be laughing about so we called over the manager he made a joke out of it and I said it’s not something you can joke about then he finally took that meal off of the bill but after that happened it really put us off of our food then they told us to take it home, when something like that happens as manager you would need to be serious about it so we was disgusted that no one was taking us seriously we definitely won’t be going back

I know Indian food is not part of a staple diet but this restaurant really took the p**s as my friend found 6 staples in her food. She thought it was a bone and noticed there was 6 staples all linked together as she pulled them out of her mouth, how on earth these got into her food we will never know. When we approached them about this they laughed at us and didn’t take it seriously at all. It was until we had to call the waiter over who took the dish away to confirm there was 6 staples in her food. They agreed for her not to pay for that dish and thought by plying us with a cheap shot that would be suffice. We had to pay for the rest of our meal and we got one cocktail each for free to keep us quiet. I will never go back to this restaurant again and would warn anyone who does. Absolute disgrace

The food was old, it was dry and tough I highlighted this issues with Deliveroo and they arranged a reorder. Unfortunately, the chicken in the food was still old, just don’t go there for your own stomach. It isn’t worth the stomach ache.
Also, Deliveroo just arranged for the feedback to go to the restaurant. I’ve deleted the app now and I’ve waisted £35 for nothing. Besides this my experience with Deliveroo had been okie, unfortunately, food quality isn’t a Deliveroo concern.

We had booked a table at this restaurant for a family meal, whilst there was a great atmosphere the food really lacked much flavour. Whilst the food has pretty decent portions, the food was pretty bland which was very disappointing. Whilst this may of been an error, when we got home it appeared that a number of drinks had been added to our bill. I would not recommend this restaurant as there are much better Indians in the area.

Ordered a takeaway and got it home stone cold as if it had been out on the side for ages but even worse the curry was swimming in a thick layer of oil.
The rice was also very oily and cold and the onion barji so burnt I put them straight in the bin.
We microwaved the meal in the hope of salvaging this but just a couple of mouthfuls and it is in the bin.
I don’t know what went wrong and how they got such good reviews and I got such an awful meal but I am 30 quid out of pocket and left with the worst takeaway for a long time.

On the day that government extended the tier 4 areas across the country, I collected dinner from Desi only to find that all the 3 employees inside Desi had no PPE protection whatsoever.
Not even a bad placed mask on the chin as many people use, not a single mask at sight.
Every other take away that I have used in the last week had employees with masks as mandatory for every open business.
Being a restaurant with a open door on a tier 4 area I expected much more from Desi.

The portion sizes are nice and local always share a curry. I’m a vegetarian and the vegetable masala is so nice and the peshwari naan is cooked to perfection. On a Friday they do karaoke and it is such a fun atmosphere the staff are also lovely and welcoming and they do really Work hard to make you have a fun night they even do requests from the DJ ha ha. We are from Basildon but s come to Grays just to go to Desi and we love the flower wall

Enjoyed lovely meal out with friends last night. The staff here are excellent. Family run business who go the extra mile to the make sure their customers are happy! On a Saturday evening you can take your own drink which makes it a reasonably cheap experience! Food fantastic! Staff all smartly dressed and very attentive nothing too much trouble for them. This was our fourth visit although we have to travel to get there it’s worth it!

First time back since before lockdown and was so worth the wait! Satisfied the taste buds and the soul😊 lamb balti, chicken dhansak, chicken korma with side dishes and starters you don't find on a lot of other menus ...all cooked to perfection. Service wa, as always, excellent and ambience warm and inviting. Can't wait to return. Son said nothing in MK can compare to how good it is here and looks forward to dining at Desi.

I came to Desi Indian Dining Club for my birthday celebrations with friends and it was a vibe. The service was A1 and the food was lovely. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I don’t drink so I received a free non-alcoholic shot and a bottle of lemonade. My cake was also brought out to 50 cent In Da Club which was a vibe. The food was nice and well presented. All of my friends enjoyed it and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Ordered takeaway and got an uncooked chicken tandoori. It was raw on the inside. Think the tandoori chef wanted to go home early so rushed it. The tandoori was for my 3yr old son and I am so lucky that he didn’t just eat it as I checked it. Disgusting place. Never again!

Been using Desi Indian Dining for a number of years and never disappointed. One of the very best Indian restaurants in the area and my first choice for a take-away. Excellent food and love the Onion Bhajis.
