We where met by a big smile and taken to our table, the beer is good and so is the wine list. If you love Gin you will also like this pub. The food was very well presented and the chocolate brownie superb.

We visited for a celebration lunch. Good selection on the menu - something for everyone. The food was especially good. We'll be back and recommend it without hesitation.

Wonderful Sunday roast. The vegetables were excellent. The landlord was friendly and attentive and we would all love to return when we visit Sussex again.

I am reluctant to share this gem with everyone as it is already very popular and it is best to book a table unless the weather is good and you take a chance on getting a seat outside. The food was the best we have...More

Sadly we do not have a gluten free menu. Currently we serve gluten free bread & a number of gluten free puddings but are not set up to meet the gluten free requirements your wife needs.

This unique 17th century Inn houses a wonderful British restaurant and pub. You'll find it at the heart of the delightful Sussex village of Burpham, just 4 km from historic Arundel, surrounded by the glorious South Downs National Park. The menus are classic “best of British” food with a modern twist. Everything is home cooked with the freshest seasonal ingredients, locally sourced where possible. That means the specials menu changes all the time, so your tastebuds will always be delighted. Open for lunch 12-2 or 12-3 weekends, and from 6pm for dinner. Great wine menu and local Real Ale. This is a very family friendly place; well-behaved dogs are welcome to sit under the table in the pub area whilst you dine. Groups, weddings and private parties love it here and come back year after year. Bookings are recommended especially for Sunday lunch as it's always very busy.
