My partner and I shared 6 tapas as a midweek treat. What a disaster. When the tapas came out all of the dishes were stone cold. This would of been ok if the food was piping hot but it was luke warm so it was cold before we knew it. When I turned my third king prawn over to dip... More

The 3 course meal my girlfriend and I got to enjoy whilst staying the first night in Rossett Hall Hotel which is attached to the restaurant, was fantastic! We had a gorgeous duck starter followed by perfectly cooked pork belly for me and a lamb dish for my other half and then we had the pannacota for dessert. The food... More

Having served in the British Military for a number of years I can confirm that the majority of field rations are of a better standard than the roast dinner that I unfortunately had. The experience started when myself and my partner were driving past and thought we would pop in to see if they had a free table for later... More

Fantastic food but unfortunately dreadfully service and extravagant bar prices. Plenty of other options within walking distance thankfully.

I took my wife and family including 2 young grandchildren to celebrate my wifes birthday. I expected that being so close to Christmas it would be chaotic but i was pleasantly surprised. We were treated to a lovely meal and great service. I had never been to Oscars before and was surprised how nice it was. I will definately be... More

I found the food very good and the poached haddock and poached egg for breakfast was excellent. Evening meals were from a limited menu but certainly very good

Family helped celebrate my birthday with dinner here. 7 adults and 2 children were well catered for with excellent selection of meals to choose from and a very child friendly kids menu.

Some years ago this was a really lovely place to enjoy good food. Sadly, although the outside appearance is attractive and tempting, once inside it's clear they are doing everything 'on the cheap'. I visited recently when an afternoon tea had been organised for a medium sized party. To be fair they did refill plates as they emptied but the... More

Nice looking place. But lacking any atmosphere. But it was a Monday evening so not very busy. We were a birthday party of 10 . We all had the special offer £12.95 for the two course meal. We were shown to our table. By a blonde haired girl who was not very bothered. And don't ask any of us if... More
