Visited here with my partner and one of the children on a warm sunny afternoon. The food and service was amazing. We were made to feel really welcome and our waiter was brilliant with our son. All the food tasted great and the view was lovely. Would really recommended this restaurant.

I have visited CroesHowell twice before for Sunday lunch and had lovely meals both times. These times there were just the 2 of us dining. The setting is gorgeous with fantastic views. One evening this week I returned for a friends birthday. This time there was a large group of us. We found the menu confusing different prices for different times... More

Mum's eighty first birthday and where to go? Don't really like the posy restaurants, but don't like pub food either. Settled on the Croes Howell, and immediately felt that this was the right decision. There was a wedding party in, but at no time were we either pushed out of the way, or delated with the service. nicely paced service,... More

We used to go here for family gatherings as the service, food was excellent and the views stunning. The last time however the food was cooked poorly, the meat was over cooked despite asking for rare, the chips were soggy and burnt and the presentation poor. The other people in the company felt the same about their food - low... More

As you have previously visited us before you know this is not our normal standard of serving food. I hope you don't mind me asking, did you mention to our front of house team your concerns with the food, we... More

I've been here many a time of an evening and and sunday lunch and have never been disappointed. The food is always lovely and the staff always helpful and friendly. On our last visit our waitress volunteered more gravy (without even being asked). Lovely view outside too. Handy for a walk at nearby Alyn Waters Park too if you're in... More

Booked through book a table the night before. Read the reviews which were quite mixed, Arrived on time and shown to our table which was by the windows with the most wonderful views. Staff were very welcoming, polite and friendly. Menu was excellent and included a very good offer for a 2 course lunch £10.95. A limited but tasty choice... More

We returned here recently, for Sunday lunch. The views are of course still seductive and the decor stylish. We had remarkably good starters - calamari for my husband and an excellent couscous topped with sweet crispy lamb and ahrissa sauce for me. However, the roast dinners that followed were very pedestrian - we had lamb and beef respectively, very thinly... More

My wife an i decided on a lunch time trip to this exciting restaurant. I must have been a good 3 years since we last ventured here that was for my wife's birthday, sadly that visit didn't reach expectations so we thought give the place another chance. This time we were greeted by a delightful young lady and was shown... More

We dined on the 50% off evening (last Thursday of the month) and the food was amazing. As 4 adults and 4 children all the meals were FAB. The children had there's with our starters and then they were off playing out side until the desserts came. All the adults has 3 courses and everything was prefect. Thank you to... More

Coming from Manchester,my husband and I were looking for a wedding venue that was away from the hustle and bustle of a city but with a modern menu and stylish setting. We were told about the Croes Howel and after a Sunday visit and chat with the lovely staff,we were thrilled to book our wedding here. The views are breathtaking, ideal... More
