The atmosphere is lovely and old. Had a couple of meals here at lunch time and evening meal. I have been always a little disappointed with what i have had to eat tbh, it just doesn't seem to be quite there!. Think its a little over priced too.

After a disappointing night in Chester and heavy shopping trip to Cheshire Oaks, our yowling stomachs meant a decent Sunday lunch was our top priority. We had visited the Olive Grove in March and deliberately altered our route home to eat there again. There is a wide menu with excellent prices. The combination within our party of some demanding dietary... More

We were looking out for a restaurant to feed the family at 3.30pm on a Sunday afternoon. The Olive Grove looked closed and the car park empty, but we popped inside to see if they were serving and were impressed by their 'two main courses for £10 offer'. The menu was much wider than we had imagined, with lots of... More

My family were camping on the small site behind this restaurant. I pass it almost everyday but living on my own have not ventured inside. I was more than pleasantly suprised. It has a lovely atmosphere, the decor is befitting of a Cheshire Pub. The restaurant part is seperate from the bar area. The food was very well priced and... More

Struggling to find a decent Italian in the area thought we would give the Olive Grove a try having past it several times. I was disappointed even before the food arrived just by reading the menu hardly a typical Italian menu. The pizza was straight out of the freezer and over cooked, the pasta was the cheapest quality with a... More

We have eaten and enjoyed numerous meals at The Olive Grove and it never disappoints. The service is friendly and efficient and the food tasty. The monthly supper club (5 courses for £12.95) is excellent value. Ours included smoked salmon, morrocan lamb tagine and lemon tart, all of which were very appetising. Go and try!

I've visited this restaurant many times since it opened a few years ago, initially it took the area by storm as it was the first Italian restaurant in the area. Since then, the menu has changed and many traditional Italian dishes are no longer available. The dishes aren't cooked from scratch as when I asked for my dish to be... More

Great little caravan site with comfortable facitilies, good price and the added bonus of an excellent Italian Restaurant and pub. The food was lovely, staff very friendly and very resaonably priced. 10 miles from both Chester and Wrexham and set deep in the Cheshire countryside.
