Sunday lunch with a good choice of eats. Spacious bar, eating area and garden. Eating a main meal later, husband and I didn't want a large meal. Decided on a ploughman's each. Delicious but was still a bit filling and I wish I'd enquired more about sandwiches. Our friends both had the roast chicken. Spuds rather cold but the staff... More

A friend and I chanced on the Two Brewers at the end of a long, hot, summer Friday afternoon walk around Oxen Hoath. Lucky us. It was just what we needed. Lovely building, fine garden, excellent drinks, top bar snacks, and very friendly and likeable landlords who have recently taken over, and I imagine given the place a fantastic new... More

We have had two very good meals here but recently have twice been very let down. One Monday when the sign outside said "Food served today" having already ordered our drinks we were then told they do not serve food on a Monday. Today the same board was outside and when going in for lunch we were told they hadn't... More

You can have a good pub meal here for a reasonable price. The lady owner is very friendly and welcoming. We listened to a group they'd brought in last night, On Edge, who were excellent. There's limited parking out the back and a small garden.

A friend and I came here for fish and chips on a Friday night, as well as a few pints of Hadlow bitter which always go down a treat. Fish is good, as are the chips and staff are friendly as well.

We ate at the Two Brewers as part of a large party to celebrate Christmas. The meal was pricey and the portion-size bordered on mean. Several parties were taking place at the same time and the seating arrangements were uncomfortably tight. Mass catering, especially at Christmas is always a bit hit and miss and rarely value for money so when... More

We called in for lunch after a walk around Hadlow village and were very glad we did. The pub serves real ales and we chose the Hadlow ale made from local hops. The lunch menu had the sort of traditional dishes that I like to see in a pub - fish and chips, ploughman's, soup, etc and our choice -... More

This is a regular family run pub and eatery, not many left now. My family, friends and I come here regularly and have had lunches, dinners and family parties here. Sunday carvery offered us a variety of meats last Sunday, including venison and a chocolate brownie to die for, for pudding. Plenty of perfectly cooked veg and huge Yorkshire puds.... More
